Thanks for the clarification on proper spelling on plural vortex. Let me see if I got it right. If I talk about more then one single vortex, I would say vortices? If I talk about a vortex that has multiple vortices in side it, I would call it a vortexes? That would leave vortex's as improper spelling? When I use spell check it offers vortices's, as a correction for vortices.
