Up a few days ago I would say that your descriptive post above would have worked great for the way I used to see the interactions between particles, that I looked at as wave functions. The same way that dleviwing sees things. But after over a decade of trying to advance my theory to reason why the particles came together in the first place, I had the break through thought that I needed last week, that changed my way of seeing things. Now I see the the particles as vortices of, what ever we want to call the core entity. This core entity that has the inherent draw to the centre of the vortex(volume) creates a draw on the environment around it (maybe a vacuum). Other vortices now interact with other vortices to create vortexes, like quarks interact to create a proton. Now picture all that you see as particles, as vortices, that draw upon each other. Now picture this vortices interacting like the particles in your description above about the Sun and Earth. I find that this vortex as particle idea works in any scenario I can think of.

Instead of me describing how vortices operate, I ask you to go to the thread of Vincent about " The Universal Vortical Singularity" and look at the last post he did for me, I could not explain more perfectly the idea of a vortex. This will help immensely with what I am trying to get at.
