There is no problem with duplicate IP addresses. That's a somewhat common situation, especially for users of AOL. If multiple users login from the same computer I may get a notification and need to follow up, but that's usually innocuous as well.

It's interesting how the brain compensates when part of it is damaged or deprived of sensory input. I've just finished reading "The Brain that Changes Itself", by Norman Doidge, and found it to be very intriguing. Science is making great strides in this area so I share your belief that you'll be hearing again.
