| Re: An Idea I would like to discuss the interlocking Borromean Rings and the areas inside those rings. First lets look at the numbering of those areas in the rings. The first ring ( the red one ) we will call it #1 The second ring ( the green one ) we will call it #2 Now when you superpose the ring #2 over ring #1 you come up with the 3rd area ( the yellow area ) we will call that area #3.( 2=1=3 ) The next area ( the blue ring ) we will call it area #4. Interweaving ( superposing ) that ring over ring #1 and ring #2 will give us area # 5, 6, and 7.( 4+1=5, 4+2=6, 4+3=7 ) Now I assign the I Ching to those areas using the binary symbol equivalent to those numbers. Lo and behold I have the complementary opposites in their proper position. A coincidence? Also I have the 3 primary colors on the outside, which corresponds to the three sons of the I Ching and are positive areas in the octant. Another coincidence? This creates the 3 secondary colors on the inside, which corresponds to the 3 daughters of the I Ching and are negative areas in the octant. Do I dare say another coincidence? Now I can say any colored area and its complementary opposite equals white. Also any numbers which equal the number 7 equals white. Another coincidence? |
