I wasn't trying to be critical, just asking questions, but that's my nature.
Anyway, here are some good links (with an astronomy theme) for dating the birth of Jesus as well as his death (the former astronomers used archaeo-astronomy to see if any comets or unusual planetary alignments prompted the 'Star of Bethlehem' story; the latter astronomers looked for an eclipse on the day Jesus was crucified as biblical references describe a darkness over Israel on that day.) here are the links:
