We have to live by what is known, that is, we are thrust into this reality with the ability to perceive and enjoy it through our cognition. Some have angst at this existential situation, but this need not be, for we feel free to be.

We know not much more than the details that seem to have led to us, but, as Analog suggests, it is the here and now in which we operate; so, it is that our existence takes priority over the unknown unmattering essence of our beginnings.

In the darkness I alit from the "Wiz",
And tried to make sense of this world of His.
Now I’ve found the answer to life’s dark quiz:
One must live this life by what light there is.

Even our enemies apparent—the mosquitos—may have a crucial role in the food chain.
