regards michael.
Michael...I experienced the "we are all one interconnectedness" in 1994. Before this moment occurred I had experienced a spiritual awakening which gradually through a long process escalated to this particular moment. I remember I was in my office doing some research in my attempt to fully grasp what had been happening to me when I felt a shock rise up my spine and spread out rapidly through my limbs. It was so intense that I rushed to my bed where I lay completely incapacitated by this strange sensation of shock.
I lost track of time but remember that I became internally so hot that I felt like I was burning in an inner fire. At the peak of the most intense inner heat it was like all my pores opened up and breathed out the fragrance of a million roses. The fragrance was so overwhelmingly beautiful that it was like rushing through the universe instantaneously, feeling my soul, knowing God and being me, you and everything all at once. If my son had not returned home three hours later and ask me why the apartment smelled like roses when we had none...I may have thought I went insane. I ended up in hospital where I had to undergo an emergency spinal because I had lost my (salt) or sodium content in my blood which is one of our electrolytes. Doctors could not figure out my blood nor how I was even alive.
Recently I found a quote that I understand:
"The Phoenix dies by inhaling the odours from the nest and that from the breast of the dead body a new phoenix is born."
