Thanks Mikal,I recall two instances,one find myself leaving my body and shooting out
through the ceiling into space and onto the planet mars,this took but seconds to accomplish,landing on the planets surface rocking as I hit the ground,while doing this,
i was conscious also of being in my bedroom about 54 million miles away,two places
at the same time very far apart!Also while lucid dreaming I found myself in a country lane in Ireland where my grandparents used to live,(as they were long dead by now)as you can control the events in lucid dreaming,"I" decided my grandparents would be at home,
I knockedthe door went in and there they both were!While this was happening also I was aware of being in my bedroom several hundred miles away!
