Intelligence and consciousness, a property of matter when given enough time, emerged to organize and slow entropy. In doing that, matter has become aware of an end to life, thought and its partitioned existence. These matter units evolved with self preservation and created this concept of a benelovent God and afterlife in order to continue the path of ever increasing complexity and local order. Consciousness an accidental side effect of emergence may not be the only way of organizing matter to its ultimate goal
We are part of energy, partaking in the evolution of this cosmos in neverending macro-cycles of transformations.
