True. Life and existence are studied by science and philosophy, but each of them it's own things. An understanding life and existence is the aim of science and philosophy, thus, the TOE is the aim of science and philosophy.
I like using the term philosciensophia which means "love for knowledge and wisdom" and which is definatelly a description of science an philosophy. I use it to refer the co-operation of science and philosophy in the search for the ultimate truth; the theory of everything; the absolute knowledge and wisdom.
