This definition of mind is actually more like one of spirit or soul. But, if it's true that the same mind (here, the definition of mind is the collection of all thoughts and ideas) incarnating, then it would definatelly remember previous lives, and would have all the thoughts and ideas of it's previous minds. Anyway, the mind cannot exist witohut a brain.
