yes, we are definitely at the something stage right now, although I would argue that we are at the cusp between the something and the everything, right on the verge. Also I think it's a little demoting to call animals nothing, but compared to us, I guess it makes sense. Perhaps the nothing is the very "lowest" animal, or in other words, just before life started.

Do you agree that any species from another planet that evolved intelligently enough to develop the TOE would look somewhat like humans in form?
