| Well, when I wrote "nothing" I didn't mean it to be a state itself, but the begining of the states. Just like "everything" is not a state itself, but the end of the states.
Now, about your question, I disagree. First, to simplify the things(although it doesn't really matter, they are still too much complicated). Let's agree that there is only our universe. In our universe there are many, many galaxies, I'm not going to say a number for we don't know it, but once I read that it was around the same number of atoms in our body. Well, in each galaxy, there are probably the same number of planets that are galaxies in the unvierse. And out of each planet, and up to what our biologists say, there is a major pattern or rule for there to be life: CHONPS(Carbon-Hydrogen-Oxygen-Nitrogen-Phosphorus-Sulphur). For this life to become as complex as animals, there is another difficulty. For them to become what we call "intelligence", or what humans were at first, as simple Homo sapiens sapiens, there is another great difficulty. But for them to construct civilizations, there is another step. And, finally, for them to become as advanced as to near to achieve the TOE, it is another step. All these are steps and dificulties that make the probabilty infinitesimally smaller and smaller each time, for them to exist. But this is to exist. The probability that they are shape-size like as humans, is an infinitesimal region of this probability to exist. So I extremely doubt, practically neglect, the idea that they look like us. It is actually a typical non-scientific thing to do, to think that because we are intelligence and look like this the other intelligence will look like us. Unless there IS a reason for this correlation, is there?
