Oh Shakespeare, are you listening?
What if, over the course of events that naturally made you who you were as a person, the government wanted to take your life? What if the course of events that defined who you were meant that you were a good person, interested in nothing more than salvation for humanity and the end of suffering and oppression, yet the government wanted to take your life away from you anyway? Would you be willing to fight for it? Would you be willing to die for it?
Such a question sounds contradictory, afterall, if you die for your life you'll be dead. However, there is an important meaning behind the concept, and it is one of principle. Any battle that leaves you dead seems to be one not worth choosing, but in principle, it is. Such that I love my life, I am willing to die for it.
Wo is he who holds his principles dear. If you think you will uphold your own values, be prepared to take on any government that destroys your values as your mortal enemy. Take it from someone who knows, and be prepared to die for you life.
