great absolutelly fantastic thread. Discussing about numbers IS very important and relevant to the TOE, no matter what religious view points of TOE say.

I think there are 3 (lol! it had to be) main 3s from which the rest are derived (please note that the all the 3s I talk abotu in each point, actually are the same principle):

1. The mind has three main lobes, three main kinds of thoughts (believe-idea-knowledge), three types of thought (spatial, logical, emotional), three main existences (perception, conception, production).

2. The universe has three main kinds of energy (gravitational/potential/mass, kinetic/thermal, electromagnetic/light), three main forces (for gravity is not actually a force, but a curvature), three main states of matter (apart from plasma and other types of condensation), three spatial dimensions.

3. Three points/lines for a triangle (start point for western thought was the triangle), three main cultures (south american-african, european-north american, asiatic-australian), three main studies (philosophy, humanities, natural sciences), three main maths (geometry, algebra, statistics).

By these three, they respectivelly represent:

1. The issue of how individuals exist.

2. The issue of how the universe exists.

3. The issue of how society exists.

It thus reduces to I, we, and it.
