these rings are not connected by strict definition of the word. I used the word 'disconnected' above incorrectly, I really meant 'unlocked'. In order for this configuration to be possible in 3D, the rings must have certain curvatures. This locking mechanism is not possible in a 2D world.
Time independence: [∂E(g)]²=[∂F(a)×∂r(a)]·[∂F(b)×∂r(b)] and Mass independence: ¶a(t)·¶r(t)=c²
