My little knowledge of biology tells me that it could be by provoking tumors in the neurons: they will disconnect to it, and then we have to reduce and eliminate the tumor, of course. There are several problems with this method: the person will have tumor (i.e. cancer), the neurons might not disconnect, so it will spand all around, we might not stop the tumor in time, we still don't know how to eliminate completely tumors, provoke them, controll them, or even predict them. We don't even know exactly why they happen (we know how: overmultiplication).
