I imagine at this point we can only guess as to how many, if any, other universes there are out there. If there any scientific proof or evidence that even gives the slightest hint towards an answer? The only thing I know of is Everett's Many Worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics - but that's only an interpretation and not proof of anything.
I don't think we can rule out that there may be an infinite number of universes out there. I'll agree that infinity doesn't exist in our physical world, but we're talking about what's outside our physical world, where I think anything's game as far as we know. A talking hotdog doesn't exist in our physical world either, but for all we know that could be the universe that's next door. |
