Cool transformation - 08-05-2006, 09:52 PM

the alchemial process is essentially one of transformation. Recently I have started to wonder about transformation between the states of liquid, solid and gas. I would be interested to know if anyone has done any work in this are related to harmonics and vibrations...

I don't know about the Alchemical side of things. But I suspect that solids, liquids and gases all behave the same. The only difference in their behaviour is time.

If you pour water into petrol or oil and wait a few seconds it will sink to the bottom. higher specific gravity.

If you place a gold coin on a steel plate and wait a few million years it will end up on the bottom. higher specific gravity.

I think this behaviour could be one of the prime movers of evolution.

just loose ideas of mine

Hydrogen is the first element on the periodic table and it has a single proton, helium next with 2 protons and so on up the periodic table adding one proton at a time to create the next element.

We need to remember that we named many of these elements long before we understood the nuclear fusion process that has the energy to bring these protons close enough together to allow their strong nuclear forces to reach out the short distance to lock.

So in a manner of speaking ... everything is built from hydrogen ... all these things can exist in a gaseous, liquid or solid state.

The fact that all elements can exist in all states and combine in a molecular form gives a huge number of possibles... each working within its own timeframe...

I believe this is evolutions engine room...
