Voynich Manuscript - 10-13-2007, 08:00 AM

Has anyone here studied the Voynich Manuscript? Does anyone have any theories on it? I have seen parts and I believe it was written by a woman, some of the verses in there I have been able to translate as susperstitious spell reversals that I was raised to do and I know it was done by a woman because part of the superstition is that if a man knows you did it, it won't work. I have also seen some similar pictures of herbs and roots in a book called God's Pharmacy by Maria Treben.

I read up on it. Its weird.

It seems strange that with our technology we are incapable of breaking the code, if there is a code. Perhaps there isn't and thats why it has not been broken.

But if you are going to write gibberesh how do you do that in a language structure?

Re: Voynich Manuscript - 10-14-2007, 08:20 AM

I am pretty sure it's a Gypsy language (of Egyptian decent), and there is no written language for Rom currently, I think they just speak it and don't write it. But there could have been a written language at one time or an attempt to write one. A lot of it is repetition and that's how spells are said out loud.

I know a lady that did alchemy, she was supposed to help me with a situation with my mother. She told me never to open the paper, I did. I never talked to her because she was Turkish, living in Germany but only spoke Greek to my aunt. So I opened the paper when I came back. It was folded up extremely tight and wrapped and bound. When I opened it stars flew up out of it and the sound of harp chords came out too, one note for each star, about 7-12, I can't remember. My mom saw it too and it knocked us back in shock. Inside the paper was what looked like Arabic writing and the whole page was filled and circled. She is called a "biak", it's like a female witch doctor and these people are common but I had never seen true alchemy until I met her.

Re: Voynich Manuscript - 10-14-2007, 08:43 AM

That lady also gave me a mild drug that made me loose my memory. I went to visit her 3 times with my aunt, each time she served me coffee. My aunt told me never to drink anything unless it is poured in front of you because people will put stuff (magic stuff) in your drink. The first 2 times the pot was on the table, the last visit she handed me my cup full with no pot on the table. That was the first thing I thought of, there was something put in my drink. But I trusted my aunt and I drank from the Turkish lady. It was a kind of relaxer because as soon as I stood up to leave, I almost fell over into the china cabinet. She gave me some liquids and sugar cubes to put into my mothers drink also. I had to carry this overseas, it was the summer before 9/11 so security wasn't so tight. I completely forgot about the incident until I returned home and had my photos printed. Then I remembered that day, when we walked down the street, everything was a different color, like a greenish yellow tint, I took a lot of photos and I remember being really calm and giggly. Even when the airport security asked me if I was carrying something that anyone gave me, I denied it because I couldn't remember that I was carrying something from someone.

My daughter was poisoned somehow too by my aunt a couple days before I left because she didn't want us to leave (I was already there for 3 weeks and I wanted to leave). My daughter was extremely ill going in and out of consciousness, I even took her to a doctor and they couldn't explain what was wrong with her. But as soon as we left and arrived at the airport, she was better, I had to carry her she was so ill until then. So I had everything analyzed, even chunks of my daughters hair and nothing came back as a known poison. I never talked to my aunt again after that. My mother got extremely ill when she was visiting her once too and my aunts brother died in her care so I think she believes she is helping people. Her whole family does it, they come from a remote mountain village and she is even little with a round belly like those women pictured in the Voinych Manuscript with long hair. My mom told me it's part of her religion to do magic and witchcraft but I don't know what that religion is because it's ancient.

Well Sally thats not good. If I was you I wouldn't be drinking anything that people like that offered me.

Do you have a copy of the manuscript. I read about it in the Wiki and I am curious to see some of it. Where could I get a copy?

stay cool Sal ... greg

PS: i just found it at the following site

Re: Voynich Manuscript - 10-15-2007, 06:33 AM

That's why I don't talk to my aunt anymore, I don't think she knows what she is doing with her potions. The Turkish lady though, she knows what she is doing. There are different kinds of biach, some are very old ladies, grandma's, those are the most knowledgeable. My husbands mom goes to one but he only works over photos and tells people where stuff is hidden around them that was placed by people doing magic on them. He gets rid of the magic but he still works with some herbs for extreme cases.

I saw the book on the internet a while ago, I haven't been able to find it again. That link gave me an error. There were some phonetic sounds to match the writing, that's how I could understand it. You have be able to speak multiple languages to understand it because it's combined and that's why I say Gypsy wrote it.

I don't think anyone can study to learn how to do alchemy unless they know someone first hand. What I saw appeared out of thin air, it was the kind of stars you see in front of your eyes, and the sound started from the bottom but went up in pitch like a string of notes going higher. So it was reversed from down to up, but started down. It was loud too. There was nothing but writing on the paper, absolutely nothing inside.

I still got that error page but I found it, http://beinecke.library.yale.edu/dl_...p?srchtype=CNO

Since the languages are combined, the writing is a combination too, that's why it hasn't been deciphered. It would be like spelling English and Cyrillic, but more ancient letters like Arabic, Egyptian. Even ancient Macedonian isn't Cyrillic, it was thought to be Demotic on the Rosetta Stone but was eventually translated as the ancient writing but still sounds the same as modern Macedonian.

I show you how a gibberish language is created so you can see what I mean. Let's say the number 0 doesn't have a word to spell, just a number, Cebra translated would be zebra because the 0 is partial making only the beginning sound. That's how it is written. I wish I knew how to spell in those languages, I only speak them.

Hmmm .... now your link doesn't work either. I think that site must have a timeout so that you can't link to it.
