Welcome to the Anecdotal Stories forum. The purpose of this forum is to give members the opportunity to relate personal stories of an unexplainable nature. These stories may tend towards a paranormal type explanation.

These stories may be very important and personal to the story-teller so lets all be respectful. Even when someone appears to be a nutcase, if he/she is sincere, lets show respect, courtesy, and understanding. Posts that are obviously insincere, sarcastic, disrespectful will be deleted. If you are the story-teller, please don't be offended when posters debunk your story. Keep an open mind and consider other possibilities or offer your counter-arguments. Remember, the goal here is to find the truth by probing the underlying explanations/physics of what may be going on behind the phenomenon.

When relating your story try to be objective as much as possible and to make clear where you are interpreting the story. People have different interpretations of events based on their background, education, religious affiliation, etc. For example, if a bright light flashes in your room, don't say God spoke to you, you noticed a rip in the space-time fabric of the universe, you witnessed a ghost. Just say you saw a bright light flash in your room.
