Seeing you denied that to me, a path met its crossroads

('Twas the opposite… I couldn't go to someone who once again said "ignore me" [goodbye] just preceding the exact time that I was unexpectedly freed up to go… shooting one's self in the foot, one might say… Wish you the best, too; all that happened between us was real… and belongs to us forever… Have to say it here since you don't PM any more. None can know the future…)

THE CABIN

The green leaf cradles.. the morn's sweet dew
Breezes frolic softly..cross the trees hanging boughs
The wave rushes from its source...to kiss the waiting shore..
A symphony of dawn's breaking light..
Trailing on the majesty of the ..
Nightingales...
swift flight..its swift rush..back to the night..

Night stirs...for morn has broke from its embrace
Stretching with tepid timidity..to peer shyly
Through the shattered dawn...
as the light's inviting grace
Its flowing robe of garment..
to the forest's absorbing canopy..
Of tangled branch..muted bramble and the waiting silent bush..
Its enmassed depth of beauty..
Nature's sweet breath..heaven sent

The morn's dew..has wept on the wispy thirsting Rose..
Running as rivulets...to seep to the soul of fragrance..
From whence the Rose grows..
The dew rushes to carress the Tulip..swaying in its joy..
Running as rivulets..to seep into the soul..
Of beauty's Truth...
From whence the Tulip grows...

The honeysuckle drifts..to meet the Cabin's peace..
The scent rushing to toussle with
The morn's fresh breath..
It frantically rushes to swirl..upon the rising steam..
From the simmering little kettle..announcing night's death..
Cold has settled upon the once warm hearth..
As morn rushes into a frenzied dance...
To collect the memories of the past night's romance...


That poem was a lifedream...a lifedream is much more in your heart than your head...When it is crushed even in slow dragging steps...it is life and love hurting in your heart....when we hurt the deepest we pass unwillingly through "turmoil"...we stumble, we bruise, we scar...we fall...smiles...we shoot ourselves in the foot. Such is the power of love...there is no power greater......

I saw the power of love moving ever onward,

inward, and upward,

and on the verge of moving outward…

but then one spoke for two

and it went southward…

In my great travels to other times and places, I did run across a elderly gentleman, a sorcerer of sorts, moving quickly from a misty forest into a golden meadow. He said his name was Greybeard. I am wondering, now, if that was the one you were in search of.

That is the one, and, indeed, that is where he said that he obtained his name… Or, is he an actual reincarnation of the great wizard, for he does say some pretty profound stuff (as we have seen).

This time..... I won't fall asleep during church services...Just being here makes me sleepy. I am so bored..... I am drifting... my eyes... I can't keep them open. The sermon is loud.... my wife keeps poking me... I am drifting.. I always dream during church naps.. What will I dream of... escape to the land of magic.... escape...

I drift to sleep... I see her. I look up and see a beautiful blonde warrior princess. She sees me and smiles. I see you made it back.... Then I remembered, I have seen her before. I knew this place that she lived in but I didn't know why. I felt I was home, again.... with her. I was back.

She asked,"Do you remember me? Do you remember your friend? I asked, "My friend?". She pointed to the opening through the trees. A unicorn was prancing... looking at me and nodding as if he were agreeing with something said. I just said, "Oh".... and thought what a sight. I did remember something about that beautiful animal...my friend.

I got on the unicorn and started riding... fast. Fast and free.... free of the church service, free of my other life... so distant....

A voice sheared, " Stop". I looked toward the voice and saw another beautiful women holding a lighted staff. It seemed magical, and so did she. She asked,"So, do you know who you are, yet.?" I asked, "Who I am?" I proceeded to tell her my name, but she exclaimed, "No". She wanted to know if I remembered who I was..... I quietly admitted, "No". She pointed the staff at my face and said,"You will, now". A white light covered me.. engulfed me... I saw everything... I was the light..I..

My nose. Someone is holding my nose. I woke up to find my wife's fingers squeezing my nose... She said I was snoring so loud, the alter behind the priest was vibrating. Rubbing my nose, I tried to remember what I was supposed to remember about myself in the dream, but I failed...The dream faded into the fogs of my mind.... Maybe next week's church nap will be longer.... 'til then, then...
