I come to the conclusion of my stories look,
as my own life unfolds, narrating my thoughts,
into pages on my life a writer jots,
From the mystical dreams of uncommon songs,
to the tyranny cubical workplace prongs,
I look forward to escaping into pages of timeless,
ever windless, rindless, grime-less un-stress,
deeper darker, lighter soulful, embraceable book.

Time Particle, I am very curious about your looks, the ladies would most likely need a man similar to Conan the Barbarian, hhmmm... But I must also add T.M. that you certainly go for the strong limbed, and hopefully strong minded as well. The pictures just leak feminine strength, quite impressive I must say.

On another topic, that being dowsing, I once had a very unsettling experience.

The following actually happened to me.

My father-in-law at that time, offered to dowse the location for our well. The gentleman had been a dowser for decades and was always consulted before siting the well at the many remote locations he worked.

The time of year would have been late May, and the trees were just coming into leaf. He carefully searched and finally selected a nicely balanced forked piece of willow, the forked branches being of about 1 1/8 inches in diameter.

Having trimmed and shaped this implement to his liking, he held it out in front while he paced around the house with slow measured strides, the tip of the willow performing various movements. The rest of us watched and awaited his pronouncements.

He then approached me and asked if I would like to give it a try. I held the willow as instructed, and felt rather self-conscious, but whatever....and nothing happened as I walked in similar manner to him.

He came to me and said, "Relax, maybe you just need to recharge." He then stood beside me, his hands over mine for almost a minute, after which I began anew.

I now found myself paying attention to the "feel" of the willow and I walked along, unnoticing of anything else. Suddenly the willow tugged mightily to point down to the earth. I gripped and resisted with all my strength, but I was unable to stop the insistent tug.

The bark of the willow twisted off in my hand and my palms were marked from my effort of restraint. This was not a large piece of wood. It should have posed no difficulty to point it skyward.

The gentleman came to my side and smiled. I was standing right over the spot where our water well was to be sited. He had told the others while I was immersed in my task, but I had no prior knowledge.

I have never attempted to dowse since, the experience still very tangible in my mind. However, I am less inclined to scoff at some of the things that I do not understand and that science has yet to explain.

Hi LW. I to have had a similar experience. My better half and I were building a Booster Juice in a strip mall and needed to tie into both water and electrical conduit. The conduit ran underneath a concrete floor. The base builders had provided no schematics as to the locations of the conduit. An elderly and experienced plumber working at the site over heard our dilemma and offered a solution. His suggestion was to fashion a divining rod from hanger wire (a ten gage wire used to suspend T-bar ceilings) and use it to locate both the water and electrical conduit. It worked beautifully.

Hi, Tarina. Conan, I am not, however I do keep fit. I enjoy a strong female body and mind as weakness is dreadfully boring.... wouldn't you agree?
