Are the UFOs, really our overlords as in Childhood's End, by Aurthur C. Clarke. Are they here to help us to our next level, and, at the same time, are not able to reach that level, themselves?

Or, are they a selfish breed, unaware of their own consequences and fate?

Usually, a ghost appearance will also bring intense emotions... either dark or light feelings. Did you have any unusual feelings from the light? It seems as though you didn't, as you would have mentioned that.

UFO encounters are usually more intense then what you experienced. It would seem the light came from a source other than what you first searched for. Maybe a reflection, it was, from another direction.

Magic makes itself known, so that the seer is fully aware of its presence. It is purposeful in its appearance. Did you feel wonderfully different afterward?

I watch the shows on T.V on hauntings and stuff for years,,never once heard of a "sighting" in this form.My only feelings about it came afterwards, confusion,lightheaded and the next day very tired.I know,I've been asked about whether there was any missing time.Can't say as I noticed the time so I don't know for sure.Suggesting abduction,I personally don't think so.I don't think they'd like me much.If so there were probably aliens missing a few antennae. A skeptical friend was shown were on the curtains the light came through and where it landed on the coffee table,he thought of reflexion also .It definitely came from the air,theres no other building on that side,and too sharp a downward angle to be from the bank behind us.
Thats a committed magician to break into my house for a free show in the middle of the night.HAHA
The only other thing was for a week my girlfriend said I was making weird noises in my sleep.I was wondering if it's possible for a laser to shine through a curtain like this or not.Could it come from a satelite or something.?It was stationary for 20 seconds or so.Probably astral catalepsy,sleep walking half awake half dreaming?..........Ghosty.

Maybe they will move this planet to an amazing place in our universe. Or, maybe they will see our destruction and get caught up in it, themselves. Is their non-interference rules holding them back from involving, or are they unknowing of how to help us... trying to use technology to figure us out, but failing.

Ghosty, it was definitely a giant lightning bug answering what it thought was a mating signal from your cigarette, but as it is the males that fly and search for the unmoving females, it noticed that you were male and then took off, not even telling his bug friends about this scary close encounter.

Well, whatever it was, you may want to prepare yourself for your next encounter. Relaxing meditation centers oneself, and opens the mind and the spirit to new and wonderful doorways. You will be able to explain your encounters of the strange, yourself, with certainty and integrity. You will see things more clearly.

The mystic wall that keeps us out, also protects us from the dark side. We would love to be emersed in a magical forest, living an enchanted life with loved ones, however, the wall keeps the darkness out, also. To break through the wall, you must be willing to challenge all evil that finds you. Once you vanquish all of mystical evil, you will be allowed to live in the magical forest. Once you open yourself up to the world of mystics, magic and spirits, you must be willing to go through the process, emerging to the other side, enlightened and wise to the ways of deep magic.

If it wasn't astral catalepsy,which thinking more about it,I don't think it was now,cause I was able to move.Usually it comes with paralysis .Then it must have been,either E.T.,or more likely laser off of,or from a satellite.Before this happened I though U.F.O type sightings were interesting,but didn't really believe in them.It's something I'd need to see to believe.And I still haven't.But I'm struggling with this mystery,it seems to be down to 2 options now.Unless someone here enlightens me more.I know what I saw,and didn't see,and it really happened.Why, I don't know.

There are many types of meditation. Clearing ones mind of thoughts is a product of most, but not necessarily an intended goal. Watching ones thought processes, not clearing them, may be another form during deep meditation.

At the risk of sounding preachy, clearing ones mind and body is a great and honorable goal, but must be done without smoking cigarettes ... if you still indulge. The harmony created by a healthy body and mind can give you this clarity. You will then find it easier to answer your own questions about this encounter. You will not have to ask about it to anyone as you will be clear and certain about what took place.
