    Smile An experience...

Many years ago I had a very strange and amazing experience. I was laying down on a bed and was in the process of falling to sleep. I remember that I was in that twilight state between waking and sleeping or maybe I was having a lucid dream. I remember that a thought occurred to me while in that state, and the thought was this: "try and put your finger through the wall", and so I touched the wall with my finger, and to my amazement an opening grew where I touched the wall, and I could see various particles oscillating and millions of string type substances vibrating, and it all looked like some kind of kaleidescope of energy patterns and infinite vibrating oscillating particles. My finger seemed to sink into this small area of the wall, and it seemed to merge with the vibrating particles of the wall for a moment...actually, there are no words that I can use to describe it accurately, but this experience showed me quite clearly that a solid wall is not really solid at all but is actually a vibrating mass of energy, and nothing and no one is solid. I think that this experience was my first direct encounter with the vibrating strings that quantum physicists talk about, which is why I believe that string theory is right on target.

Youre on the wrong track, but just keep connecting the dots. The big picture will emerge. Guaranteed. The string is just one point, of view.

On the other hand, just seeing your hands, shows advancement, on the dream scale. Congrats.

Hi Philosopher X…I do believe you had an experience called momentarily embracing the intensity of life and everything created in life.
I feel these experiences are possible because we do consist of several forms of matter at different vibratory rates. Coincidentally the point between awake and sleeping is like the moment of transition between two states of matter and if one is holding a particular thought at that point it has the potential to hold a stronger energy pattern which a person then experiences as a brush with the unknown.
Interesting experience, thanks for sharing and making all attempts to put this into words…

    Regards Mikal
If I see a train coming and your on the track...if I don't tell you, it will be a pity for you and a shame on me....

I was once luckily enough to be awake but very still and in-between the awake and the dream state and I could see my dream arm (at about 50% transparency) diverging and coming back to my real arm.

Another time I was able to keep some dream music playing for about ten seconds.

    So…?

    Re: An experience...

I've had many lucid dreams. After "bounding" in some, I actually managed to learn how to fly by sort of a seining motion. In one, I didn't have to swim at all, I just flew. I was living in Ga. at the time and flew above the clouds. I remember seeing many stars. Shortly after I went up I went back because I could see Mi. through the clouds. I wanted to see my friend there. When I got to his house his car was wrecked in the driveway and I remember knowing he wasn't there. Woke up not too long after that. Two weeks later, I talked to him and his car was indeed wrecked.

I've also had an experience or two when I am staring at the backs of my eyes, when ... shadows start taking shapes. I mean detailed shapes of complex objects, and I would say, I am definitely awake and not asleep. Someone like Austin might say I am totally crazy for saying that sometimes I get a "feeling or sense/knowing" and there really isn't a proper way to convey it, but those words help.

You know the sensation your body gets when you get scared? That nervous rush feeling, like a sudden pulse in your body rooted near the belly? It sort of feels just like going over a fast small hill on a rollercoaster, I can make my self feel that on demand and sustain it. It sort of like being able to wiggle yours ears I guess, but I don't panic when I do either.

I think currents are mistaken for strings. But what do I know anyway.

swimming motion ... silly Iphone. Saw Avatar again last night. Great flick. Yesterday, my neighbor took me with him to feed his horse. His horse was stabled because it was rescued from people whom were not, or not able to take care of it. It seemed a bit timid. On the other side of the outdoor stable area, there was an fenced off field of horses. One had come to the fence and seemed very interested in smelling my hand. Everytime I tried to pet it, it wiould pull it's head back.

My neighbor came walking up and tried to pet it immediately and it walked away. Soon as he walked away, it came back to the fence and he said, "silly horse." I said it just has to be on the horse's terms. It was wearing a jacket like his, so I imagined it might have been rescued as well. There was another painted horse eating from a pile of hay just beyond the fence, and the one was still at the fence curious about the smell of my hand. A white horse came troting up and the other two took noticed and troted away for a moment. It came up to me at the fence and seemed interested with me. It stood there looking at me, and I decided, since the other horses had decided to show this horse some respect, perhaps I should to. So I tipped my head down to it, and at that point it decided to smell my hair. My neighbor said, "be carefull they nip." I remember thinking maybe you, but not me. I'm not forcing myself on them.

I know it might seem funny to some people, but to me, something came to mind. From a stupid movie it was fresh in my head. The idea in Avatar that you have to bond with an animal before you can ride it. While I didn't plan to ride, I thought to try and bond with the horses anyway. The white horse let me pet it, long as I would tip my head down so it could smell my hair. It didn't seem like a bad trade to me.
