Assume it to be true that switches rule the universe and are capable of intelligent design. What would develop from allowing the switches to aquire intelligence to determine when to be on or off?

Assume it to be true that switches rule the universe and are capable of intelligent design. What would develop from allowing the switches to aquire intelligence to determine when to be on or off?

One of either of the following two things:

• The eventual creation of one colossal silicon life form (assuming these switches are silicon), keeping watch over the Universe.

• A lot of inactivated independent silicon life forms ruled by an active hierarchy of potentially inactive independent silicon life forms.
