I would like to start this thread with the plural and reduce it to the singular.
Trace all apparent appearences of form and energy to the singular, and then suggest that anything at all without universal exception that appears in the
plural is false! And therefore unreal in the understanding of the word REAL?
    will continue later.

    kind regards michael.

The need to hold on to certain ideas, is more a need for One to have something to believe in, a pre-occipation of sorts, (more based on fear of the unknown than logical reasoning) providing stability as well as safety and security. When One has nothing to believe - quite often the end result is a world of thought crashing ... into a void or so to speak ....

Reduction to base level - is all about returning thought to order and restoring the balance mankind.... by realising we are all the same beings of light and not as individual as u think!

All said - well said Michael ...
The fundamental method of philosophy is the use of reasoning to evaluate arguments concerning these questions ..

    Cool intellectual inertia...

HTS, I think I agree, I would only add that we are beings of light and dark (I salute both in you) and order and chaos. Refusal to let go of the known and embrace the unknown is refusal to realize the wholistic nature of our being/non-being

Thanks Harmony, for your balanced view, you said embrace the unknown, yes we need to do that, and also to erase the known,by that I mean the old worn
out thread bare ideas that we have been carrying for centuries, those of being exclusive and apart from,we have to drop these lead weights from us
as they are a cancer and blight to spiritual growth. The ego needs to be realigned and poised within the understanding of base level reality?A natural
balance will align itself to the one who is inclusively conscious, and will begin
to intuitively realise the interconnectivity of all "things"and know they are but
    one thing?

    kind regards michael.

Cool Re: Reduction to base level.

thanks Michael. Lately I have started to wonder if the simplicity of life isn't about the sweetness of leaving it? just a thought...

Cool Re: Reduction to base level.

don't get me wrong, this is not despondency, I am extremely comfortable with my own death. What I am wondering is: is base level life (at least as it is lived in this dimension)?

    Re: Reduction to base level.

Michael dear your words are music to soul 'ears'.the state you are trying to describe is the most sought after& enviable one. Then there is no conscious of body-mind or even soul. There is complete 'awareness'---one is not aware of one's awareness state even i.e. no observer, neither observant, no manifestation, existence eternal reigns.God bless you.be ever happy.ls.
