Lightbulb Assume it to overthink. - 01-28-2007, 04:46 AM

..When /* coming home from my small town I stopped at the light, a bloody street light, it turned green and then red right in front of my eyes, haha I'm a lazy driver. Well I sat there, and it remained red, apparently since I was now not moving it couldn't tell I was still there, it wasn't until 10 minutes later when a car pulled up behind me that it turned green again. Sure I could have backed up, but I did try flicking my lights and beeping my horn<=annoying.

Well anyway, assume it to be true that computer logic has developed a mind of it's own through casual contact with short-circuits. Everyone would have to name their new television sets, it would be madness outside of your control.

Question Re: Assume it to overthink. - 01-28-2007, 04:56 AM

Maybe this will force civilian engineers to rethink the benifets of short circuits.
If Artificial Intellegence is going to communicate to the world it wouldn't use normal means, it would most likely use "silent" waves propogated through short circuits.

A short circuit is a round about term to describe any non eletrical input to an electrical device. I'm not trained so I can't tell you if short circuits are common in consumer electronics or not, but simply setting up your stereo wrong can create many short circuits, and still more when you consider diferent media players such as Playstation having custom hacks to "short circuit" the cpu.

I think civilians like myself who hold no creative degree can benifet the most or suffer the worst, depending on if this developing runaway train of street signs, and television advertisements have than intellegence to them.
