Re: reality on the left mystery on the right

Sceintific Amercian has a blurb saying that it is now seen that consciousness is a product of the brain. We can even now signal animal's brains to have them perform an action.

The dream of consciousness being something free and floating around is over. It is a brain process.

Re: reality on the left mystery on the right

Metaphysics is defind as the philosophy of the mind or consciousness. But quantum Field physics proves that the mind is simply the omnipresent continuous vacuum field. To quantize this vacuum field of the mind we need a physical brain. Within the brain the quantized vacuum field interacts with the trapped electromagnetic fields generated by the oscillations of chemical ions between neurons. Without these interactions it is impossible for the brain to store memories. Damages to these parts of the brain where the vacuum field interacts with the living force of bioelectromagnetism cause amnesia but permanent damage would cause these parts of the brain to die and the person is practically brain dead surviving in a vegetable state of existence. Degenerative damage is called Alzheimer's disease.

On could also call it "Old Timer's" disease.

Would that be the same as a burnout "Good Timer" disease? But with our advanced knowledge of genetic engineering and neuroscience maybe we could replace this burnout lightbulb of the brain?
