The Thinker

After such a long time with absence of artistic inspiration, I've written a new song. This one expresses preciselly the absence of inspiration. I hope it gives the sensation of being-in-a-cage that I intended, and that it makes everyone think about the origin of this dissapearanca of time (it is the conquest of space, by all means), of progress (note Fukuyama's theory of the end of history and Baudrillard's theory of the illusion of the end). It's a shame you have to read it, for the music I've given (in my mind) to it makes it all easier.
I want to dedicate this song to Nietzsche for being a big inspiration in it and in all my creations. To the night, on which I must be in order to compose. To the world, for existing and giving me a reason to exist (neglecting it). To the sky, for not hiding the fact that it's nature is to hide, and teaching me how to stop hiding my way of being a secret. And to my love, in general, and in person.
Tired and Bored:
Our lives are so boring,
And the world is so tiring,
We don’t know were we’re going,
Cause the desert is growing,
At all times, at all times.
I’m tired & bored,
You’re tired & bored,
& he’s tired & bored,
& she’s tired & bored.
All this silence is nothing,
And events are recycling,
There’s no point now in fighting,
Cause the world isn’t exciting,
At any time, at any time.
We’re tired & bored,
All tired & bored,
And tired & bored,
Oh tired & bored.
Everything can’t stop changing,
There’s no sense and no meaning,
Lost in direction we’re shaping,
The future way of living,
In no time, in no time.
I’m tired & bored,
You’re tired & bored,
& he’s tired & bored,
& she’s tired & bored.
We’re tired & bored,
All tired & bored,
And tired & bored,
Oh tired & bored.
