In pursuit of wisdom
Scholars learn every subject under the sun
Vast data is stored in memory chambers
Walking encyclopedia they become
Lower minds feel envious when confronted (with)
Colossal knowledge of their brains
They could discourse on any subject
Updated expertise (is) flawlessly flaunted
No master could teach them any more
Available data is always handy
But for some there is quest to know more
To seek answers to big questions
Natural science gives knowledge only of its creations
It is groping at superficial level
Scriptural teachings are confusing (their) gospels
Different masters are speaking different languages
Truth revealed by Vedanta* is confounding
It is Realization not a theory
Those mired in sensual life are not apt for it
Their channels are attuned in contrast
Inner eyes of genuine seekers are opened
When placed at the doors of the Light house
Its rays of enlightenment are spreading afar
Submerging in the way confusing gospels
Their real learning begins by unlearning the half-truths
Proclaimed as Truth by pseudo masters
Science, spirituality have one Source – Divine
Material encasing (manifestations) deludes ‘em apart
One who learns their diversity an’ underlying unity
Removes fog of ignorance; becomes learner
Unlearning unreal, yearning for Real
Is the royal road – seek oh man!
