The heartache of particles

I have tried a number of forums to raise awareness about the power being directed at one tiny particle, a power not seen since the dawn of our time.

As one who looks for options I have for obvious reasons worried about CERN and other particle accelerators. First and foremost it is reasonable to assume that I am wrong.

If I was unfortunate enough to be right then what are the possible options.

First the time scenario which after the first is fired do we need to continue until a destruction of the accelerator in the past is achieved. Would this be regardless of the cost to humanity which therefore need to be seen as expendable in relationship to the importance of the universe.

Second if time and propulsion are the things that humanity is really looking for, would a future humanity if around sufficiently long enough need to travel back to erase the damage we may have done. This could be by direct destruction or by fudging the results and letting the present think it had spent all that money for nil result.

Third as it appears that a mountain is the comfortable safety range of black hole stability by my guesstimate based on others calculations that mountain size is the pop out limit. As most of what I look at seems to be a turn it on its head approach this size if not achieved should produce the most spectacular explosion.

Given that at best there is a two out of three chance of surviving by default or by stupid chance I may just have to sit back and wait and see if the odds of survival if not the best that I had hoped for have swung more solidly in the favour of humanity. This is especially significant in the case of scenario number three.

Could this all come down to the determination of individuals versus the collective immovability of organised groups of humanity. The temples of culture be they scientific, religious, political, journalism in any media and by social segregation are all keepers of their particular philosophy and woe behold some upstart outsider who may rock the boat.

As with any critically ill patient the kindest thing must be good palliative care, do no harm, alleviate pain and do not cause concern if no immediate prospect of cure is at hand. Cause no harm, too late for that I am sure I have more than upset a few and thus I temper of my language (no apology given if I do sound frustrated) better that this had remained my pain alone. It seems like nothing that I have tried has had any effect.

In the words of the saint and I will look up which one later:-
Give me the strength to change what I can change
and give me the grace to accept those things that I can't.

Critically ill patients and alleviating pain, for this there appears to be no pain killer but by the same token one can prevent further suffering by not causing any further stress. No one but myself believes my world reshaped around me in the late sixties or early seventies, I don't recall the people I just accept who is there at the time but the buildings there were changes.

I do not want to be the one to cause stress to innocents because again the very real possibility is that I am wrong, totally and utterly wrong, no matter how right I think I may be. This is my pain and I wish it were mine alone. I didn't continue to hand out the leaflets to the public. They would be as powerless as I am to stop all the particle accelerators in the world, especially as this country doesn't even have one.

Why write this publicly, maybe just to say if we are lucky enough to have a city sized power explosion that this is why it happened and now will someone listen.
