Opening up the Drudge Report today, what did my eyes see? Apparently, the New York Press, which hails itself as New York's "premier alternative newspaper", deemed a list of 52 reasons why the Pope dying is funny. The editor thought that this disgrace was so newsworthy as to put a big picture advertising this on the front page.

Whatever your feelings on the Pope's policies and beliefs, you don't disrespect a man so devoted to trying to make the world a better place. Especially when he's dying.

The editor may be reached at editorial@nypress.com. In the subject line, please put something along the lines of "RE: 52 reasons why the pope dying is funny." And give them a piece of your mind.
