well, here i am; having been a 'professional student' for more decades than i care to remember!! first, i spent several years getting my undergraduate education at monash university in maths and elec eng; then i went to work in the DoD (dept of defence) working on numerical solutions to antennas (my masters was in axisymmetric antennas) and 'other' stuff; then when my wife did'nt want to move to canberra, i shifted to telstra (australia's big telco) where i worked in a bioeffects cell, that's where i became really interested in bioelectromagnetics and did my ph.d. in computational BEM. i am a member of the BEM Society. so how did i come up with the self-field theory?? no idea, maybe the big guy upstairs had a bit to do with it. anyway, i'd better go and see what the dogs are up to, so see you all soon!! cheers tony
