What ya mean by speak english? I think if there is people concerned about healthy discussions, like the ones that can be found here, is because watching the Simpsons is not good enough for them. Yes, the concepts you have just showed are valid, but are just a small part of mathematics and, if we are supposed to be discussing about math that help finding the TOE, this branches are definitely not the ones needed. Geometry of manifolds in many dimensions may be a good aproach. It is not just invented; it`s used nowadays to solve other problems. But I have to confess that I also like the Simpsons. Cheers.

That's the problem. The branches that are needed are the basics, because the theory of everything is easy to understand, because it is the truth.

All the rest is theoretical physics, a whole 'nother branch of "science".

Yes, the basics are the ones needed. And once we understand them, we will come to a better undestanding of the world. Topology may be thought as the basics of mathematics. Calculus and euclidian geometry are an invention more worked on, with more requirements.
