What are your thoughts about the third line above?

This is just a reminder to vote in the Who's Chatting poll.
I voted. An example of a meta-metathought is My thhought that it was stupid to have the thought that I had yesterday that a thought can be independent of the rest of the mind.

We can go on and on. Doing this, we jsut get further away from reality.

Here's my opinion about intelligence. Sure some brains may be more powerful then others, but to me intelligence is only a state of mind. In other words, intelligence is simply what you consider yourself to be. So if you want to be intelligent, then you are intelligent. This is what may be called inspiration. Some people say that god gave man divine inspiration and this is what made him man. I however think that men were just some apes that became inspired to become intelligent. Or excuse me, I meant to same womankind. SO it was divine inspiration, but of the animal's own making. Therefore intelligence is a state of mind. You can only inspire yourself to become intelligent, by taking on that state of mind.

Talking intelli-what? - 01-19-2006, 05:28 PM

i think that intelligence is used in a few different senses. it can mean smartness or quick-wittedness or it can mean self-awareness or it can mean instinct (or even a choice not to follow instinct). I think that intelligence (smartness) is a human trait, intelligence (self-awareness) and intelligence (instinct) is an energy trait. An electron may not be self-aware (or it may be, I haven't talked to one lately) but I think there is an instinct there which predicates how it behaves. A choice, if you will (not to be too flippant)...
