It's been a while so lets have a chat this coming Saturday, September 16th, at 3:00pm Central Standard Time (CST) or GMT-6.
The question to ponder is this... What's Outside the Universe?
I realize this is somewhat vague and could go a number of different directions and may seem non-sensical to some. How can there be anything outside of the universe? Well, maybe its the time before the universe came into being, although time would not exist so there could be no concept of before. Or it could be after the universe dies, but how could it die? Or it could be the time between the quantum ticks of the universe, except time is undefined there. You might say God is outside of the universe, but what is God? Could a wormhole take us outside of the universe to another universe perhaps? Probably not, at least not a living human body. Perhaps we should ponder the definition of the universe to know what is outside it. So, is time a characteristic of the universe? If so, what would it be like to exist in a timeless void. So many questions... Timezone Information: I have added a countdown to the chat session on the home page, or you can use the timezone converter to convert to your local time. Once there, enter the day and time as specified above, then select US/Central in the "From Time Zone" column and your own location in the "To Time Zone" column, then click Convert. Be sure and unclick the "Use Current Date/Time" option. This will give you the time of the chat meeting in your own local time.

Inside - Outside Quantum / Atomic click /Tick ??? what atom is clicking / Ticking ?? Why Limit yourself to an inside and outside. Is not the Universe a whole ??? All this gobbledy goog (Sorry), The universe is simple not as complicated as everyone on here seems to think. I cannot believe that there is some HiddenTruth to the universal order. The most obvious place to hide something is right in front of you . So Obvious that it blends in with the surroundings. I will probably get my head bitten off for this post. But that is my view. Steve . W here has all the time gone ? Your Time is my Spacetime.

Unfortunately, I've been asked to sit on the board of a martial arts belt award ceremony today at 2:30pm, and will be unable to attend the chat session. This is one of my other activities I dabble in, and feel obligated to attend since a friend is being tested.
With one member 'for sure be there' and another 'probably be there' I would usually cancel the chat. I did, however, send out several PMs to previous chat participants so some of them will probably show as well, so the chat is still on. I'll send the reminder PMs a week early next time to get a better pre-chat discussion started.
I do have one question..."What the heck is outside the universe?"

What is outside of the universe is the reality as it is,in its absolute non-formational void
of allness, what is inside the universe is a relative reflection of that inner majesty.

What is outside the universe is the absolute life entity-the absolute allness, life pure and
unexpressed!
What lies within our universe is relative life-pure and expressed.
All there really is is life, expressed and unexpressed, which to our present level of
understanding,is like unto a darkened flame?

Dear Michael, when we think of something outside the universe we virtually set ourselves outside the universe. More so close to a non existent God. The absurdity of the imagination is an attempt to cross the limitation, the human mind is capable of.But not equipped to find an answer. Everything is supposed to have an end to exist. Time is non existent. What we see is the perception of time, the continuation. We are existing like still frames in time-space seen in a continuity. That defines our movements and our life in our own perception. We can see a billion of seconds making years but not a billion of years a second can hold in it. We are linear lives into a round space. We need to live in all possible directions at any point to understand this.

We are living in the universe , inside. Seeing it from outside we will be again wondering what is outside of this, because we will be very much inside of it

It's all a matter of definition. It seems many want to re-define the dictionary, and the laws of physics___at the same time...
