General Chat Room Guidelines

1. If you wish to chat with someone, check the chat room at the top of the hour and 30 minutes past the hour. If members, wishing to chat, check out who's chatting at those times, there's a greater probability that someone will be present.
2. When meeting other members for a chat, use the timezone converter to coordinate your times.
3. Members may create temporary chat rooms and may specify a password for the chatroom if they wish to keep it private. The room will be automatically removed 1 hour after the last member leaves.
4. Administrators and Toe Club Members are only allowed to create a permanant chat room.
5. The archive button allows you to review the previous 5 days of chat.
   • This time will probably be reduced as the chat room becomes more active.

ToeQuest Sanctioned Chat Meetings

1. First official chat session will be held on Friday, March 11th, at 11pm CST (GMT -6). Use the timezone converter to convert this time to your local time.
   • This time may change for future meetings if it is inconvenient for many people.
2. Lets make the first topic, "Theory of Everything: What is it?".
   • A high-level discussion on the Theory of Everything. What it is, what it should explain, how do we know when we have one, etc.
3. Feel free to create a new chat room on a specific topic if the main chat room gets too busy and you want focus on a particular issue.
4. I'll start a new forum tomorrow to keep track of the chat meetings and perhaps to keep an archive of the conversations for members to view or download.

I feel for you. I've gotta get up at 7am, which isn't much better. Especially when I like to stay up until 3am the night before (Working on the website of course). Since we have members in 60 different countries, I'm trying to rotate between 3 times that are 8 hours apart to reach the widest possible audience. Hope to see you there.

If I don't make it at 6AM sunday(lazarus #) : my 2 cents worth : Arthur Clarke's 3rd Law : A sufficiently advanced technology will seem like MAGIC to a less advanced technology. Thus JESUS was an in vitro implant, Mary a host mother; as alien abductions/fertilizations/harvesting fetuses is well documented now. The transfiguration on the mount was an advanced tech-full body cat scan so as to have a record to return his dead body to in the resurrection; but that also means his MEMORY was also recorded as of back then. Thus he told Mary Magdalene not to touch him because he wasn't quite re-integrated memory-wise. Also she might have gotten a cryogenic burn as the gamma ray burst on the shroud of Turin was from his body being slam frozen to 0 deg K; by the 1st Law of TD : where does the heat go(at 300 deg K ground temp to 0 deg K)? Then there is his W=P disappearences(super-momentum)in front of people. All this says that advanced technology was integral to Jesus's life and mission, he IS the king of the advanced civilization to come(soon enough). But the issue now is pre-big bang, what came before? As with the son, so with the father. That night JESUS said : not my will but THY WILL be done. Why the sacrifice that seemed so un-necessary, why? Simple : GOD, the creator of the universe was crucified in much the same way. Big KLEW : the 24 elders mentioned in the Book of Revelation. Somehow there was a "college" of idea-entities that was evolving. Think of : point, then line, then area, then volume, and triangles, circles, on and on, concept building upon concept...how to construct something physical. Let's say one evolved concept was a topology that like a flat decal on a curved window, you're always going to have this WRINKLE, it never quite FITS. Yes, its a beautiful idea, but it DOESN'T WORK. Lets say then that we have several of these beautiful but impractical ideas for a "universe"...now along comes #25 with what sounds like a REALLY crazy idea. Instead of being applauded he's despised, CRUCIFIED, slaughtered like an innocent lamb. And yet somehow, by sacrificing something of himself, he manages to create the BIG BANG(by his mighty right arm). So, as Hawking told Pope John Paul : you get everything before the first 10^-41 sec, we'll take everything after that. So, to us the last 13.7 billion years is all we know of "existense", what if that's just the period after a l o n g sentence.....
