I would like to discuss about "begining points" for the starting of the quest of the theory of everything. Sort of the "statements" from which to lead the rest.

I presume that your talking about axioms, or postulates, the unprovable assumptions/premises of any [deductive] theory.

I'm reminded of an old chestnut:

Why do neighbours' disputes over their fence seem so difficult to resolve?

.... Because they are arguing from different premises.

    hi chaim, welcome.

Yes and no. I meant postulates/axioms but also theorems. Thus, statements that are either proved or not, but that form the basis of the theories.

    Lightbulb Unification of forces

We are trying for the GUT but we still are otu of rech from it because of gravitation is not introduces in it. let's chat on the ideas of unification.
Only two things are infinite, one is the universe and other is human's stupidity. I doubt the former.

    I've got an idea robert,

We could get two chat session topics per chat session, and then, if we finish with one or just don't want to talk much about it, we have another one which may keep the discussion longer.

Also I think for the next chat session we should have a run at a particular theory. For example, M theory, Heim theory, LQG....

Have we ever discussed about the possible unification of Quantum Mechanics as well as Theory of Relativity??

There hasn't been a particular chat session about it, and there should be, definatelly.

But anyway, for all of those who talk about the Theory Of Everything, in it's real meaning, then, the unification of these two theories is equal to the TOE. And we have discuss about it a lot in many many many threads.

To dipayankar : Prof Feynman's equation is : E=mc^2=hw where h is Planck's quantum and w is DeBroglie's Wave number. This equates relativity and quantum mechanics. Get his 3 volume lecture series, given at CalTech in the early 1960s. If you REALLY want to know physics learn and ABSORB what he's teaching you; then you'll be ready for the rest of the story. W=P
