I alsoways thought gravity leaked from this Universe to the mirrored one..

    Re: 2008-04-19: What is Time?

I believe in the many worlds theory and 3-dimensional stepped time in plus or minus x,y,z directions which are linear but make into 3D by grouping into the three dimensions we see. Make a track, say in a figure 8 with (x y z) locations in a Cartesian coordinate system. The path will stay the same but if each chronological point is relocated one position in the future there are choices such as in-line, flanking movements and such to the track. Both of these movements will effect time or change in the path of course to move forward in time the beginning of the path has to be moved a step into the future. The time loss is gravity, black holes, dark and energy (the same thing) by compacting the chain segments.

    Can you draw it?

How would you expain the non posibility of time travel in this concept?

    Re: 2008-04-19: What is Time?

It's my belief that every thing happens one step before the next step and this means at the most basic level as a time-line. I'm unable to show pictures , I would if it could never, been able to. Steps in a time-line are just moving a point along a point path in a cartesian corrdinate system. For instance if we started with (x y z) (0 0 0) and took a step in time backward the y-direction the location would be (0 -1 0) -- then take a step in the x-direction (1 -1 0) and do this plus and minus movements to the xyz groups and when you come back one step from (0 0 0) move a step from the start (0 0 0) and start a secondary path one time unit from its past chronological order. All the points on the secondary or future path is one time unit leap from the present. You will notice that the path will change shape each cycle around the path according to the choices made. In the many worlds theory when you make a choice in a step you move into a different world as you travel along the path. Everything exists but you live in a world of zillions of choices.

    Re: 2008-04-19: What is Time?

For instance if you started with points of a square you could change this into a rectangle or whatever. I actually started this idea in grade school but this can't give you diagonals so I looked at the formula for diagonals and seen how to arrange steps to get a diagonal. D = (x^2 + y^2 + z^2)^1/2 this can be according to the picture drawn...

    ...1...6...7
    ...2...5...8
    ...3...4...9

Each chronological step of the chain path is moved to the right one unit step as a universal cycle of the path is taken. It will take 3 universal cycle movements to move the complete line in this case three steps in the x-direction in 9 units of time. If y = 4 then it will take 16 steps in time to move 4 point units. If x = 0 then the diagonal acording to the formula would be 5 as in a 3-4-5 triangle. Both the x and y movement occur in 25 units of time not 9 and 16 if you understand what I mean -- 3/25 + 4/25 = 5/25.

The drawing below is incorrect -- all past movements are moved one unit step per cycle.

    .........__....__
    .........|..|..|..|
start..|..|_.|..| --------> x = 2 step up and one forward then 2 steps down and one step forward ..repeat.

Crazy stuff, but its very interresting. I have never read of anyone using this matrix idea, have you.

    Re: 2008-04-19: What is Time?

I just can't see how time travel is possible as we live as a wave in a medium -- or time-line. It would be like being made of sound waves and trying to travel faster than a sound wave. All particles seem to composits of the time-line one step after another no turning back due to blocking while waiting a turn around the time-line cycle.

Put 10 people in a room with a checkerboard floor and have them take one checkerboard step then the next chronological person takes a step in whatever direction and so on with the rule that two persons cannot occupy the same checkerboard. Repeat the 10 person step cycle over and over and see what happens.

I also believe that since entropy will play a strong role, we cannot have time travel as it would violate the law of entropy.

    Time Travel
I got on a plane when it was time to travel and flew through the night landing in the future of a different place on a new day.
But that was some time ago, time traveled in the past.
