Our next topic-driven chat session will be held this coming Saturday, April 19th, at 8pm GMT. The topic is...
What is Time?
Areas we can cover include how time is related to space, how gravity affects time, is time travel possible, is time discrete or continuous, does anything exist outside of or separate from time, can time be reversed, etc. Please remember that this is a science website. Discussions should be rational and based on evidence and reasoned argument.

When is the chat in my local time?
The chat is 8pm GMT but I bet you don't live there. I'll have a countdown timer on the home page but you can also go to the
timezone converter website to convert the 8pm GMT time to your local time. At the website select the "Use The Following Date/Time" option and enter the day and time of the chat (April 19th, 8pm) and select GMT in the
"From Time Zone" section and your location in the
"To Time Zone" section, then click convert. This will give you the time of the chat meeting in own local time.

Going Forward...
Going forward I'd like to continue with a topic-driven chat every 2 weeks. I plan on bringing in guests chatters to some of our chats. I'm thinking the website themes and quizzes will continue but not be tied to our chat schedule. I'm also investigating some improvements to our chat software and some related features that I know everyone will appreciate.
Let's use this thread for the pre-chat discussion and please remember to vote in this thread's poll so we can all know who's attending. However, last minute drop-ins are also welcome.
