Sealed units in an ocean of consciousness

I would like to post this thread,to putout this Idea,for comment,the ideas this.
That we as human beings are sealed units,within an ocean of consciousness
and that our brains our the physical outpost of this ideas!That the link
with this "outpost" is made via the mind(which is non-physical)and acts upon
the brain.It would seem that depending on our focus of thought,whether very
shallow or very deep,decides how much of this ocean we drink?Also in times of
crisis,and indeed crisis seems to be absolutely essential,to force us to find those
hidden reserves,many of which ideas no clue,until they surface! in a crisis.
Body,brain,mind,and soul,alyssum to be linked via a electrical magnetic field
which seems to flow within this ocean!What do you think!

This poor old thread seemed so sealed off,it has sunk without a trace!Well
help is at hand little thread,you are to be reborn!
It can appear,thatwe are indeed,and in fact,within a mighty ocean of
consciousness,andfor many of us,weseem to be sealed off from this source?
I am inclined to think that what keeps us sealed off,is out self-centered
attitude,and selfish persuits.We in effect cut our selves off from universal aid!But in times of profound illness,suffering,or loss,we "punch" a hole in
our hardened exterior,and "allow" a trickle ofthat mighty ocean in!Once we
begin to sense that we are empty within,we begin to open-up,and allow
conscious aid to flow into us.

Michael, I'm not sure I agree. I think we are isolated because we don't experience connection through any one of our senses. The very first joint creative venture I had with someone else demonstrated connection beyond our sense, but I don't think people usually are aware of how unified we are, absent an experience like this.

I understand and accept what you say Harmony,I too havehad this bonding
and creative experience,it is a wonderful thing to behold indeed!However
what I was trying to mention here,albeit rather clumsily,was that we seem to be units of expression,in the last outpost of physical expression,
surrounded by an infinite ocean of conscious intelligence,and to tap into
this,very often needs the intervention of a crisis!

it is the divine "hand" which taps. crisis happen in the mind(brain),that is why their effects are felt at the body(senses)level. It is 'divine' intervention that awakens our latent (sealed) consciousness. Sealed units we appear, otherwise are we really sealed? every element in nature is assisting us, sustaining us, complementing our being, rather is beckoning us behold the splendor, which is 'sealed' in us(body,brain,mind)!ideas too crop up in the mind& having not its own conscious(reality-seeds i.e., sparks), cannot open up the ‘sealed’ self.
Brother, your whole being oozes ‘reality’! are you really from west, whereas your ‘sealed’ self is anything but confined to one place---its reach is cosmic. (hg has hit the nail(or nailed the truth) of truth. That where nothing but ‘awareness’ reigns(is self-effulgent),not even imagination manifest!

It is through crisis and many disappointments,that finally the idea that there
is help to be had outside,begins to be doubted,pain and hurtful feelings
eventually bring us to a point,where we instinctively turn within,we begin to
understand that the answer to all our many questions,concerning why we are
here!etc,will be answered by this internal monitor?The soul thatis the very
embodiment of creative intelligence,is just waiting there for you to access it!
By looking within,and asking for help and guidance from the soul or monitor
within,we begin to break down the seal that kept us apart from the real
beauty of life,and once again allows us access into the ocean of freedom
and expanded consciousness!

Bibra,ls,I totally agree,when you say themind is the cause of all bondage,
and that the mind is the cause of all liberation!We are indeed our very own
judge,jury,and executioner!There is no greater judge of man,than man
himself?It is by looking within,usually because we are hurting inside,that we
begin to understand ourselves,and gain access to our inner monitor,the
human soul!Then we can plot a more middle way,to avoid the two extremes?
