I posted this over at brainmeta, i thought it might be of some value to you all here. It's taken out of context as I wrote it to clarify my beliefs to other members, but it covers some of the topics I've seen posted here. Enjoy.

I’ve posted a few replies to your comments now, and I have read as much as I can from each of your posts. Honestly I can say I’ve never been happier to be around people with such a rich diversity of opinions, you’ve helped me see though and solidify a lot of what I’m about to put forward. So firstly thank you.
This is not going to be a short essay by any means, and will touch on subjects that can still be somewhat construed as “radical”, I ask you to form your own opinions. I realized in some of my recent posts I could be misinterpreted as I’ve presented so little about what I believe. Feel free to flame, degrade, misinterpret or adopt what I say, I encourage open discussion about anything I believe, I am open to any change and any possibility. I ask the same of you, at least for the moment.
Isn’t it wonderful, we have the life and the world so many people have died for, so much freedom in such abundance, so why aren’t we using it?
Logic and reason dictate to us that since we can get up and leave at pretty much anytime we want we’re free. Okay so we get up and leave what do we do? How do we earn money? How do we live? In reality we’re free to relocate to another place and live a relatively similar life within a relatively similar structure. Okay so we have to do things in order to have a good life, in order to have nice things and provide a good home for our family and ourselves, but that’s life. That doesn’t affect our freedom; it’s just a term we have to adhere to in order to keep our freedom.
There are many more terms and conditions to freedom. You have to think a certain way, no matter your belief you are victim to tainted logic once you believe in anything fixed. Logic, Reason, Idealism, Philosophy, Math’s or whatever the medium used all depend on one critical thing, they are correct.
So we develop our beliefs, and choose the ones that closest fit the way we perceive things. We learn more about the subjects and begin to uncover all the wonderful facets of it, our strengths and weaknesses. We develop our characters and our opinions while all the time learning more and more about our chosen way of life.
Eventually the other aspects of life make less and less sense, and yours explains more and more now truth is born. You now know from experience that what you believe is true, and you know how to collect evidence that shows it to those who share your opinions, and to tempt those who are looking for something to believe in.
Belief becomes reality, reality becomes fact and thinking becomes altered to accept that as fixed reality. More and more innovations come from this “fixed reality” until one day a limit is reached. Suddenly understanding shoots a different way and the cycle begins again.
For all things it’s the same rule. Business, Religion, Philosophy, Science, Art, Thinking everything. So collectively we’ve proved what?
All of our points are valid; we know that, each of us knows the merits of ours. To me it seems they’re all true, and the only real difference is the state of mind of the person who subscribes to which belief and how much energy they put into proving it.
Let go of right and wrong for just a moment and think about this. Basically if the only difference between us is how we interpret reality what does that tell us? Reality, as we know it isn’t real; it is a platform where our beliefs and our ideals play out. It’s a symbolic reaction of who we are, externally represented. Each person is an individual, but each of our reactions are dictated by the person we are reacting to. To say it another way we are responding to an action or with the intent we interpret from it. It’s a seductive model, you always get what you ask for, even if you know your asking for it or not. Time is required for the actions to have meaning and since we currently interpret events in sequential fashion we construct reality to include time to show the projected outcome.
In this way all things can exist simultaneously, in this way infinite amounts of realities can exist because every reality is a product of the individual, we see the result of this reality in our world. All worlds are a product of thought so every thought can theoretically contain it’s own universe as real to the life in it as this is to us.
Once you appreciate this life will become even more beautiful than you ever imagined it could be. By changing yourself, by realizing that everything is a state of mind, a way of thinking about things you can see the extent of your control in life.
Everything is a state of mind, because a state of mind is not a definition. It’s a level of perception, but it can apply to any state, it is a universal concept we can relate to in order to advance our thinking beyond our current capabilities.
Psychologically by recognizing everything as a state of mind means you can create anchors to trigger those states at will, it’s kind of like Google for the brain. You create a platform where you can launch any belief from, and establish anchors to trigger them not only do you have a powerful model for thought, you also have the same model as magick, the same model as devoted faith, the same model as the sciences and their interrelation.
We’re using the right keys in the wrong doors people. God is a state of mind where nothing exists except the self. In a way God is meditating 24/7 either that or wasted.
We are a bubble of light in the sea of nothing, how can God meditate with so much going on you may ask, how can God do nothing?
Some religions believe that we are here in servitude to the Gods. Once again a great philosophy has become raped and misinterpreted by man. We exist because God does not, everything we have and perceive, everything we put value from is derived from God by taking nothing and giving it form. We design it from materials that exist to us, and give it shapes that fit in with our world. Any good craftsman treats craft like creating life because you are giving life. You are changing the very essence of God with everything we do.
We exist in a tiny sphere of consciousness, a state of mind that allows us to see ourselves as separate to God. We are allowed to indulge to any life we want, we’re given a body as a tool but we’re not our bodies.
Consider for a moment does the you that awakens in your dreams ever think about you? If so what do you think about you here? Your dreams all feel so real until you realize they are just a dream, in that moment all of their control over you fades away and you take control. Life is a dream, one for most of us we dream from 7am till 12 everyday.
Without differences, if we all really did live in peace, if everyone loved each other the world as we know it would end. Power systems, finance, corporations, and industries everything would collapse in on itself, as has happened before to other great cities, the same will befall us. Either we take the quantum leap forward we all have a feeling is coming, and push to make it a reality or we just continue as is.
Duality dictates that one side will show dominance for a time but the other side must also show dominance for the same amount. We’re destined to change whether we like it or not. The question now is, are we going to accept it and embrace it or are we going to ignore it and become stagnant?
The world can be a beautiful place where people accept each others differences the only people who need to change for that is you and I. The fights of the world are the products of the people who’re trying to control the world, your countries battle is not yours. We are people caught up in a battle for control, which is lead by the people we empowered and since we put them there we justify their reasons rather than question our own. It’s nothing to be ashamed of, we’re all fallible, we’re all only learning, being wrong isn’t a weakness of character, it’s a strength.
God is a state of mind all religions say they lead to; all sciences state will explain everything and present the first unified theory. God is nothing, because we live in a state that creates the illusion of separation. Every creation in the universe is a reminder that God is there, everything in existence exists because thought took form.
I have more beauty in my life now than I’ve ever had before. Everything I see reminds me of one simple fact, I, you, everything is God. We’re inherently perfect, and through a need to justify ourselves we question our perfect nature and alter it to suit the options we’re presented with.
We can and will create new options; we can and will create a better world, not in spite of but because of our diversity. As I said earlier, we all know our particular way is right, now we need to decipher and refine, find the similarities in emotional reasoning and logic the common expressions and use both of them when judging truth. In this way they apply to all people alike, they cross all boundaries. We don’t need to create a new world we need to find the balance in our current one, and if that balance is letting go of the idea of being better than or needing to have more than any one else, if that balance means the death of the ego and the beginning of a truly common platform then I’m all forward.
We’re all right, we’re all wrong. It’s all perception.
Each one of you has taught me to look on another level for the true meaning of what you say, each one of you has taught me to refine my own thinking a stage farther. I hope you take a little of what I say to heart. |
