Re: Does wisdom lead to silence?

An interesting thread, laying dormant, not dead.

On the journey, I have encountered, on occasion, a person with whom one just connects, without words.

Sometimes it is a child, other times an elder, or any age in between. Any culture, any age, male or female, for a second, a minute, an hour, a day, maybe longer. This person may resurface along the path of your journey, or not.

Teachers all. Many of life's lessons will come to those who seek, without words.

    The more I live,
I becoming more aware of my life.
For me, being alive itself is wisdom (if at all that makes sense)
    And if wisdom is everything...

Re: Does wisdom lead to silence?

I think wisdom or truth must be shared for the goodness of All.

    A Poem:

    The Heart Rings True

An authentic life is a true life.
Then to live a true life is to be true.
But the wonderful Socrates would ask: What is true?
    Well, true is simply you.
So how does One know with certainty,
    When he is authentically true?
    Listen to your own heart,
For it will ring loud and clear,
When true and you are One.
    Ring........

it is only equal and the lion is one.

    education has the key.

Re: Does wisdom lead to silence?

I think wisdom is knowing when to be silent and when to speak up. I suspect that wisdom requires more silence than speaking.

On the other hand, a gun silencer led to the ignorance of a crime being committed.

If the truth is not spoken, what then should be?
