Re: Super-luminal quantum communication and consciousness
Seeing or feeling an angel in the imagination wouldn't mean that they are actually out there. Nor would briefly seeing one.
Some add a further feature to imagination, a second level, that it can see into the true nature of things; this imagination of what imagination can do is a meta level, the philosophy of imagination. Now imagination is twice removed from the objective, and further removed from art and what others make up.
One might say that a meditative blankness 'sensory' feeling seems like an All, then leap to the meta, claiming it must be an All, and then even meta-meta to describe the properties and purposes of the All. Thrice removed.
You might then say to Mel and Drifter, no, that's wrong, but mine is right. Since many imaginations of such things contradict, then this is a another big clue that they are made up.
True, that there are many waves and fields out there that we don't sense, but we can't just use that insight to declare that a specific invisible has a better chance to be there.
Re: Super-luminal quantum communication and consciousness
The spiritual is not experienced in the imagination, the imagination is played out in the mind, the spiritual is experienced outside of oneself in a field around the physical body. It is a "heart field"...one cannot deny the spiritual because it is realized in a whole body, whole brain experience. It is realized in the integration of consciousness because it involves the Thalamus which is the core of the brain or zero point consciousness with a connect to the Pineal Gland and the heart in the brain. Some people today call this the Stargate...but it is just the gate passed to integrate consciousness.
"It is easier to pass through the eye of a needle than it is to pass through the gate of heaven (consciousness)."..............The Historical Jesus.....
Re: Super-luminal quantum communication and consciousness
Austie...I have an entire file on "the heart field"....its too late to look up that file and arrange it into a common sense dialogue but I will try to do that tomorrow after work. Myself, I cannot deny the spiritual, I experienced it....I did not read about it in books. I experienced it first and then went to history to understand it....cannot help where the course of my own life took me....
Re: Super-luminal quantum communication and consciousness
I do not doubt at all that you are all heart Austie...you may have throughout your life experienced the heart field and just not realizing the significance of it to your own consciousness....

What role does memory play?
For chemo I got a port. It wasn't pleasant. Coming out of surgery I woke up crying and saying I was sorry. The port itself was physically painful to the touch as well as connected to the pain of cancer and chemo. Anyway, I used to say I was part of the Borg (Star Trek) with my port. Recently I saw part of a Star Trek episode and when I saw the Borg there was a pain sensation at the site of my removed port. I hadn't noticed any pain in years.
How much overlap is there in memory and our connectedness?
Re: Super-luminal quantum communication and consciousness
Look at a picture and you might even get a whiff of a scent of that place. See a borg, then remember the port, and then the pain returns. I guess memories try to reassemble as much as they can.

Val...this is the best information I have on memory.
Joseph Chilton Pearce
"Our emotional brain is the seat of all relationship whether person to person, person to situation or person to event and is involved in memory. Memory has connects to the Amagdala and Hippocampus which are brain regions recording emotional survival events. It is basically recorded in our cells how and why the body puts effort into survival. Perception can trigger neural activity in these brain regions which triggers memory..."

Austin and Mikal,
Thank you very much for all your help. It is greatly appreciated. Seems silly to say "see ya later", but...see ya later. Hitn' the open road with the headlights on.
Yours Truly,
Valerie

p.s.
fond memories and if you don't see me around it's because we found an anomaly, traveled through it and saw the big foot family lair. Possibilities!
