in a continue of consideration of a tree being intellegent we can say it does not but wisper in the wind, never shouts at other trees heard by this observer or any one hearing and gives it life at times for the betterment of other life needing a home. The rating of such intellegence has a real different meaning now in the reality. .. idk imho ... g

I would be well advised to be the one in charge of the coin in any coin toss with you, Graham. How come you to know the call?..... for in any dealings with a woman, heads she wins and tails you lose, lol......
Trees are indeed a life form worthy of our respect. The contibution of the trees...... cleaning our air and contributing to the oxygen we breathe,.........natural homes for wildlife, resources for human habitats........heating and cooking fuel........food source for animals and humans, with sap, many seeds, leaves, bark and shoots with nutritional and medicinal value,............resources for endless tools and transportation, paper, furniture, bows, spears, canoes, snowshoes.........rebuilding the soil through leaves and reclaimation.......in a continue of consideration of a tree being intellegent we can say it does not but wisper in the wind, never shouts at other trees heard by this observer or any one hearing and gives it life at times for the betterment of other life needing a home. The rating of such intellegence has a real different meaning now in the reality. .. idk imho ... g
I can barely begin to list the contribution of the trees.......sit in the shade of one and further contemplate...........
So many paths to the same destination,
would, but I could, experience them all...
Trees are the hair of the living Earth.
(One time, Graham's hair caught on fire.)

Hubby just came across an interesting bit of news in the field of Artificial Intelligence and forwarded me the link, so all credit to my chief executive assistant for this one.
The well known game show Jeopardy, is going to match up a Super Computer aka 'Watson', against the two most successful players in the show's history.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-12424403A supercomputer, designed by IBM, is to face two human contestants on the US quiz show Jeopardy.
Watson will pit its wits against two of the game's most successful players.
At stake is a $1 million prize (£620,000) and the reputation of the field of artificial intelligence.
The company said Watson signals a new era in computing where machines will increasingly be able to learn and understand what humans are really asking them for.
Jeopardy is seen as the greatest challenge for Watson because of the show's rapid fire format and clues that rely on subtle meanings, puns, and riddles; something humans excel at and computers do not.
Presently searching for the date that this episode will air, as it promises to be quite a treat.
Apparently, there has already been a 'practice round'........

Ooo ... "Watson" looks tough.
I think the show airs tonight (Feb. 14th) through Wednesday night.
