Would you want to know what the essence of time is?
Would you want to know what the essence of time is?
Hi Wayne...welcome to the TOE and yes I would like to see your perspective of the essence of time. Time and its nature is a big discussion here on the TOE and I think every perspective tossed into the ring allows us personal opportunities to grasp insights so as they say...let er rip....lol...

Time arises from change, that is, from stuff moving?
No change, no time, like in the movies where time stops?
Welcome to ToeQuest Wayne.
I know what the essence of time is but if you would like to add another self-imposed definition to the ToeQuest unabridged dictionary, be our guest.![]()

"consciouness" = you have TWO bodies = physical chimpanzee(99% DNA monkey) + a spiritual body that leaves upon death(the golden bowl is broken/the silver cord is snapped). Like wave-particle there is a duality between the 2. Your physical body is like the "particle" and spirit body like the "wave". This is why spirit things are so "wavy" = comes and goes like waves on the ocean. Anyway, "time" is over running matter wave energy, in newtons of wave Force. Stand on the ocean beach : the waves crashing onto the land is akin to deceleration/weight(a form of deceleration). Your body's sense of touch is your "time-eye" : as Pv decreases the over running Ws is what you know as....TIME.
Hi Wayne...now thats an interesting statement about sense of touch. If sense of touch is "time-eye"...then what is feeling??? Any thoughts on that???

No offence Wayne but that’s just nonsense. You post in the science forum and with the science banner but then present spiritual conjecture. If you don’t know the difference between science and spirituality just remember “SPIRITUALLITY IS NOT SCIENCE.” Post your foolishness in the proper BS forum.![]()

Dear Wayne ... I appreciate that you are only a new member. If you want to apply a Science only Prefix to your thread ... then the discussion must remain within the laws of physics (or show intent).
Your definition of 'time' is far from this and so I have changed your prefix to 'Unified Discussion' where you are free to postulate all ideas.
