Good morning Sugarbear....yes rather overdressing the Emperor....smiles...but there is experience and then there is the experiential so a good way to make a point. Do you not agree??

The first statement you highlighted was apart of the study. It rather harmonizes with my understanding of things...

    Nice to see you back....

    Re: Consciousness, Transcendence & Integration

A research group connected to Exo-psychology professes that
the nervous system is the seat of human consciousness.

Geneticists are just now discovering "unused" sections of the DNA, masked by histones and activated by proteins, which are thought to contain the blueprint of the future. Neurochemistry has recently discovered that neurotransmitter chemicals facilitate/inhibit nerve impulses and synaptic connections determining level of consciousness, emotion, memory, learning, and behavior.

The histone-masked sections of the DNA code can be studied to determine the sequence of future evolution.

Just as the DNA code, in the nucleus of the cell, is the genetic brain, the nucleus of the atom is the elemental "brain" that designs and constructs atoms and molecules according to quantum logic. Physicist" John Archibald Wheeler's work suggests that the atomic nucleus can receive, remember, integrate, and transmit information at extremely high velocities and can probably engage in most of the basic social behavior that we observe in living organisms.
Our dialogue with DNA and our conversations with atomic-subatomic and astronomical energy signals must, however, be two-way. We must open our "minds" to receive the signals being sent to our nervous systems by DNA and by elemental intelligences. Since DNA creates us, it is logical, diplomatic, and theologically conventional to base our psychology upon molecular laws and designs, upon the laws and structures of nuclear physics and astronomy; to think of ourselves as "atoms" or even "stars"—radiating, decaying, attracting, repelling, receiving and transmitting, forming molecular social structures, possessing a characteristic electromagnetic personality.
From the scientific viewpoint, reality is an ocean of electromagnetic vibrations whirling momentarily into temporary structures—including bodies with nervous systems. Human consciousness (i.e., personal reality) is determined by the point along the frequency spectrum where the neural dials are tuned. Larval realities are defined by chunks of local environment attached to the nervous system at the time of imprinting.
Seasonal variations in solar radiation may alter DNA templating at the time of conception, determining human neurogenetic "types." The 12 Zodiac "signs" may crudely personalize 12 subspecies very different in neurological wiring, which reflect and recapitulate 12 stages of phylogenetic and human evolution. Each Zodiac "species" thus represents the mastery of one of the 12 neurological stages of evolution. (The tradition of using 12 peers in a trial by jury may be an unconscious recognition of the 12 subspecies populating human larval society.)
Just as the members of insect colonies are programmed to play certain roles necessary for hive survival—worker, drone, fertile male, brood queen—so each of the 12 larval types of human can be considered genetically separate; each contributes to the evolutionary process and carries a printed-out nervous system geared to a specialized survival task.
The work of Bruce Niklas at Duke reminds us of the intransigence of chromosomal patterns: If chromosome strands are experimentally disarrayed by poking them with a micro-needle, the molecules move back into the original sequence — much the way iron filings "swim" into position in response to magnetism. This suggests that some sort of energy-field pattern operates to keep the DNA code coherent and logical. The work of geneticists like Paul, Stein, and Kleinsmith suggests that histones mask the half of the DNA code containing the futique design of the organism. The error of genetic democracy led Gauguin to ask, "Where did we come from and where are we going?" Each of us transmits a very different preceded design. The question can only be asked, "Where am / going? What genetic futique do /carry in my genes?"

I find these research study statements incredibly interesting, tremendously thought provoking and I will be searching for more research that would connect with this level of thought and expand understanding of DNA’s connection to consciousness.

    Regards Mikal

Hi, Bev. Your recent posts provoked further investigation...I've been meaning to post for some time, so now finally connecting a few dots...

It's astounding how many scientific theories were derailed in the late 19th and early 20th century -

    http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...&ct=clnk&gl=nz

In 1867 Thompson, following decades of inquiry into the fundamental properties of both matter and the space between, proposed a radical new explanation for the most fundamental properties of solid objects -- the existence of "the vortex atom." This was in direct contradiction to then prevailing 19th Century theories of matter, in which atoms were still viewed as infinitesimal "small, hard bodies [as] imagined by [the Roman poet] Lucretius, and endorsed by Newton ..." Thompson's "vortex atoms" were envisioned, instead, as tiny, self-sustaining "whirlpools" in the so-called "aether" -- which Thompson and his 19th Century contemporaries increasingly believed extended throughout the Universe as an all-pervasive, incompressible fluid.

Even as Thompson published his revolutionary model for the atom, Maxwell, building on Thompson's earlier explorations of the underlying properties of this "aetheric fluid," was well on the way to devising a highly successful "mechanical" vortex model of the "incompressible aether" itself, in which Thompson's vortex atom could live -- a model derived in part from the laboratory-observed elastic and dynamical properties of solids. Ultimately, in 1873, he would succeed in uniting a couple hundred years of electrical and magnetic scientific observations into a comprehensive, overarching electromagnetic theory of light vibrations ... carried across space by this "incompressible and highly stressed universal aetheric fluid ......."

Then, of course, there's information that precedes these theories by millennia -

    http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...&ct=clnk&gl=au

Thrones form the last choir of the first' hierarchy which is the closest to the Divine Majesty. They are also known as the Ophanim. The primary function of these angles is to be God's chariot but they are also noted as meting out God's judgement. Their main characteristics are submission and peace, however they act with impartialness and humility to bring about the desires of the Lord.

"Having the most bizarre physical appearance of the celestial host, they are described as great wheels, covered with a great many eyes and glowing with light. One explanation given for this...is that they mark the end of the first Choir, where the emanations of God begin to take on more material forms and as such exist in a state of transition."

God's spirit is conveyed in a certain manner to these angels, who in turn pass on the message to men and the inferior angels.

Is the concept of 'celestial beings' innate, imagined or the result of 'Devine revelation?' In the hierarchy of such 'beings,' this quote immediately conveyed in primitive terms, the image of a spiral galaxy. The constraints of then-available descriptive vocabulary gives context to the manner in which a spiral galaxy is portrayed: not only was the concept beyond comprehension, there were no words to describe it.

Active galactic nuclei are the 'fountainhead' or source of cosmic rays which are 'the messages' or synaptic relays of cosmic experience connecting all matter.

Quote from Dionysius the Areopagite text:

"The name of the most glorious and exalted Thrones denotes that which is exempt from and untainted by any base and earthly thing, and the supermundane ascent up the steep. For these have no part in that which is lowest, but dwell in fullest power, immovably and perfectly established in the Most High, and receive the Divine Immanence above all passion and matter, and manifest God, being attentively open to divine participations."

In such a model, what we call time is created purely out of space. Special directions in space travel through each static three dimensional space, therein producing a new realm of space beyond three dimensions, which we call time. The interesting quality this produces, is how the inhabitants of this fourth dimension of space travel a linear path from past to future, but the surrounding environment of each path is shifting from one pattern to the next. This sends particles from one position in four dimensional space to the next without moving linearly. As a result, each individual observer in the fourth dimension experiences a continuous linear time, even though everything in their immediate environment is moving sequentially from place to place. Hence each temporal environment of four dimensional space is constructed relative to each independent observer.

One can imagine oneself smoothly traveling a direct and interconnected path through time, but in looking around at one's environment, one sees that all other directions of time are broken, causing particles to appear to sequentially leap from one place to another. Paradoxically, everyone observes their own path and experience of time to be linear, while all else around them is sequential. In fact, when we explore time as a direction through many 3D spaces, we find qualities of curvature, time dilation, and spatial contraction, precisely as relativity describes those qualities within our own spacetime.

This describes the manner in which the individual consciousness 'connects' memories and perceptions. Individual consciousness is an embodiment of time. Time is literally, 'of the essence' or, time is being...the manner in which memory and experience has the potential to 'create' and connects the thread of finite identity within the timelessness of space.

Material experience is finite for each individual manifestation of consciousness. It's considered 'linear' because 'life' is viewed as a linear progression through conception, growth, decay and death. However the progression through these stages requires the continued oscillations or weaving together of memory (experience/knowledge), which is more often substituted with perception (memory coloured by inwardly experienced emotion).

Wisdom is discernment which, when combined with the consciousness experience, is outwardly expressed as the most efficient path to enhancing latent potential. The finite nature of individual consciousness results in its 'becoming' a reference co-ordinate in the universal consciousness.

    http://everythingforever.com/st_volume.html

The most radical and distinctive difference between Einstein's relativity theory and quantum theory is how each describes the moment of now. In the most common and conservative interpretation of quantum theory, the universe is physically indefinite until it is observed by a conscious being. Personally I prefer to say that physical reality is indefinite before it is interacted with. In either case, the ability for physical existence to be indefinite or wave-like is not only true of what is real in regards to the future, but is true of the past events as well. The observer literally determines the course time has chosen by observing an event.

The universe is physically indefinite because each observer's or individual consciousness' perspective of remembered experience (memory) is unique (not definite): discernment (sifting the wheat from the chaff) vs perception (unable to see the forest for the trees).

A friend was recently talking about creating systems for trading on the stock market and in describing the process, she made the comment that, "greater frequency enhances accuracy"...well, we all know that applies to more than just trading systems . If time only exists as a function of consciousness, then DNA can then be said to be the compounding function of conscious experience.

Hi Lesk.......thanks for sharing additional info, links and your insights.

I am not at home right now where I left some study notes that I recorded because they gave me pause as relavent.....I am at the lake for more R&R....smiles...so functioning in realm of 'slow motion'....lol.

The statement here 'all-pervasive incompressible fluid' just rattled my insight-chain!!!! But without my recorded study notes I am left flying with only one wing......smiles. I will have to backtrack to a study I have been examining.....it'll take abit to retrace my steps....so I will be back.

    Re: Consciousness, Transcendence & Integration

I had a similar thought regarding that fluid and I believe space is an example - I'm rather certain that physical space is actually a substance of a lower dimensional form than that of a more pervasive "void" ... a void is not "nothing" but it can appear as nothing within a space because it provides no resistance to what things are. An idealized void is encapsulating and non-resistive - it's an ideal superfluid with respect to the properties of the objects present in that space and allows for maximum coherent communication between objects. It's the equivalent of an ideal superconductor. Space is not a perfect void.

It's interesting that this idea arose from considering what properties an ideal political system or government should appear to possess (of course such an ideal could vary between individual, so I'm simply giving the properties that seem ideal to me).

In terms of maximizing individual capabilities and freedom it would seem best to have a manner in which the diverse strengths, weakness, abilities and desires etc. are collectively organized to provide the maximum freedom of individuals. In order to do this, specific actions need a specific space compatible with those - if two people happen to want to get into a bar fight, it works out great they're both put into the same bar! Similarly, if people want to enjoy seeing some artwork or entertainment, it works out best if those desiring to be artists or entertainers can be efficiently matches with those desiring to entertained etc., though there could be biases in this and the equivalent "density" of observations at the "being entertained" position could be higher than that of the "content creation" , or similarly there could be fewer people desiring the "staggering dehydrated through a desert" versus "listening to the surf on a tropical paradise" etc., but there appear to be ways that most anything could be interleaved in various ways to accomodate most any vantage point, but we'd each be similar to fundamental substances within this and the capabilities arise from intelligent coordination (and synchronization in time, or sharing the same fundamental quanta of motion appears to be a key component in this and what likely "holds the place together" - it would appear that this would have to be something inherent in the individual and not something collectively enforced - you can't force someone elses figurative "clock" to share the same universal time just as the existence of channel 3 on a television doesn't mean everyone is watching the same channel - the ability to select and alter this appears to be an inherent individual ability, though it's always watching "ones own channel", but the shared objective reality arises from having these tuned to the same "wavelength"/channel).

Anyway, it appears that a single process must operate sequencially throughout the universe (and almost certainly beyond what we can see/experience of it) in order that things can move together in time, so there exists a singular reference for change and that would appear to be required to be ones own reference, though it can be a shared/overlapping property as well and others could experience events related to time observed by oneself, though not necessarily in the same ordering or from the same perspective etc., but simply that a communal "objective space" exists with properties constructed by all "entities" moving coherently with/within it. Expansions or extensions of spacial properties denote an increase in such a collective presence and contractions or reductions in spacial properties/diversity is representative of a more independent state, but there does appear to be a way to approach a highly efficient collectively state with a large amount of freedom over quite a diverse array of properties and such a state would appear to resemble a highly intelligence fluid and similar to the properties of space - it provides no resistance to motion and allows energy and form to pass through it unimpeded.

I gave an analogy on another thread, but imagine we were all similar to individual Lego blocks of various forms and in order to both maximize the shared surface area and freedom of individual change, a continual reordering of positions in space to collectively maximize both individual as well as collective efficiency could occur (when you act or choose to do something or experience something with specific properties, you basically move in position relative to everything else and as a whole this would appear to be a quite fluidic organization). You could also find the equivalent of local field lines of potential surrounding each individual because their own present form would influence the organization of things around them and this would be true of any position within it.

... anyway, it's an interesting possible manner of organization that appears to, in many ways, contain the best combination of properties of chaos and order. (I found it interesting that some of my rather strong views on political issues led to the idea ... things tie in in funky ways ... pretty cool though) Such a state appears to require a bit of intelligent coordination though and maximizing individual potential and freedom would appear to require that ones own "field lines" don't extend too far and unnecessarily disrupt things for the neighbors . (Fundamentally this wouldn't appear possible, but it could be a source of an individual block for realizing such a state - the way politics appear to be going currently in the world, we'll probably be expected to have a global vote before someone is allowed to sneeze!!! We can do a lot better than that and go the other way - let people learn how to live freely and enjoy the diversity, prosperity and creativity that life can offer. Yes, I'm certain there can be some jostling but it seems like a skill worth the effort of learning ... and there may even be a deeper and more pervasively influencial ideal involved as well)

    Re: Consciousness, Transcendence & Integration

Here's another thought regarding my previous comment. A potential issue would appear to be that no interior source of change/time would be present unless "non-optimal" configurations were used and then there's a problem of where those arise from etc.

Consider this possibility though - if time arises as a continual inclusion of new/additional "entities", then the entire "medium" could continually reconfigure in an optimal manner driven by an ever increasing volume of space (an "expansion to the universe" ) and it's also interesting to consider that the equivalent information content of this collectively grows with each addition as the alteration made by one influences the view everywhere. (The equivalent energy/influence of each photon is subjectively increased and the information density of experience in time is similarly increased)

That would give both time/change as well as free will as to what elements were included, though if multiple "free wills" happened to agree on the additions, that could make for quite a large family

I admit that normally I don't enjoy "collective" endeavours, but that's usually because the suggestions appear to get stuck or create conflicts etc. though I think if such a distributed system exists with everyone retaining complete freedom ... well ... hmmm ... dang, that wouldn't be a bad sales pitch, IMO It's hard to picture much of anything to top that off with ... but of course, there's still be the freedom to try to top it off as desired as well ...

I wonder if "all of existence" is large enough to fit something like that into it? Hmmm ...
