I once saw on TV a scientist actually put on some kind of strange spectacles on a subject... Those spectacles had a lot of flashing lights...


In the beginning the subject saw nothing else than the scattering...

Suddenly, after a while, he had a strange experience of seeing a tunnel, going to a this huge blue light...

This is because the scattering influenced the visual cortex of the subject!
This proves that the visual cortex (which is the part of the brain where the seen data are getting interpretated) is influenced by those flashing stimuli.

There are lot of neurotransmittors in a brain...

There is also a proteine called endorfine. This is chemical in your head which is produced while falling in love (heavenly feelings...) for example...

When you're clinical dead a lot of these endorfines are being produced in the brain. The amount endorfines is so huge, you don't experience pain anymore.
These endorfines are even heavier than the heaviest drug you could take...

Everbody know that when you take drugs you can see 'strange things' happen, you start to have hallucinations, you have altered time perception, you see like 'the floor suddenly going a few meters deeper', etc....

Now the endorfines are so heavy that your hallucinations get more realistic than the most realistic hallucination you could have by taking drugs.

The people who had NDE are experiencing it so real they change their whole life after the experience...

The endorfines are so strong, that you actually "experience" those things...

The feeling you have is the feeling of 'falling eternal in love' (but only stronger)...

The thing is when your hart stops beating and your breating stops, your brain is still active!!!!!

I think when the brain 'feels' it's dieing, a kind of mechanism starts happening by the neurons, making it 'soft death'...

But not everybody has this experience while clinical death!

The only thing I don't understand about NDE is... why the hell does everybody dream about a tunnel and a light??? Why don't they all 'dream' something else???

(Maybe during your NDE, something is happening influencing your visual cortex, like in the flashing experiment done by the scientist???)

This is not only about NDE...

This proves how a brain can actually influence our perception and our experiences... You think what you percieve is real!

Think of psychiatric patients... For example a scizofrenic could actually SEE a person standing next to him, and nobody else of the patients environnement can see this person... Some scizofrenics even see this kind of persons their whole life...

Even when you tell them what they see does not exist, they keep on seeing and experiencing things which we don't see!!
This is because their brain is 'creating' those persons and interferes with their perceptions... They have a problem with their brain...

This makes their perceptions SUBJECTIVE...

Of course, even in our brain, we're not scizofrenics, their is also some information subjective...

We can call ourselves "normal"; but actually I think nobody is a hundred percent normal... our consciousness is 'normal', our unconsciousness is 'abnormal' (creating dreams), but we need our inconsciousness to have a consciousness. The only problem with "abnormal" people like scizofrenics is that their unconsciousness sometimes 'sends' the wrong information to their consciousness, which results in 'positive hallucinations' (seeing things which are not their...)

We are all a little bit scizofrenic...

Because our brain can only give signification to what we see by linking the incoming data with the fragments of the 'abnormal' or of the unconsciousness.
So everything we perceive is a little bit a positive hallucination (seeing things which are not real).
The difference between someone whe call 'scizofrenic' is that the amount of the fragments of the unconsciousness which are linked to the incoming data (coming in from the senses) is more than necessary for having what we call 'normal' perceptions.

So because our brain gives signification to the incoming data, and taking in account we're all a little bit "crazy"; perception must be created by the 'interference' between the objective and the subjective!!

Is a 'tree' really 'a tree'?? Maybe "ceçi n'est pas une pipe"??

Perception must be subjective I think...

Whe all have a little 'animal' inside...

Recent experiments show that the difference between DNA of humans and DNA of shimpansees is only something like 1.7 %...

There is also an amount of the protein serotonineneurotransmittor in a brain...


This gives the feeling of happiness...

It gets stimulated by sunlight...

It's proven that depressive patients have a short of serotonine (deficiency).

Sleeping gives you serotonine as well... So when you don't sleep enough you feel a little 'depressive'...

When somebody is depressive, his 'negative' feelings will influence his behaviour, his feelings, his thoughts....

So this shows how everything (what you think, your decissions, your reactions, your feelings,...) can change by chemicals in your brain!!!!!

I even think that those chemicals influence free will!!!!

When the thoughts of the patient are influenced by those chemicals in his brain, and suppose he's depressive, that means he doesn't have the freedom of being happy, he doesn't have the freedom of feeling 'good'...

Those chemicals can be a PRISON for his mind!!!

Depression goes together with obsessive compulsive desorder.

Sometimes the depressive patient does things without really wanting to do them!!! (for example suicide...) This is a danger for himself and his environnement!! Those things, he doesn't actually want to do (but finally he does) are taking away the freedom of his mind!!!

So I doubt the real COMPLETE existence of what we call 'free will'...

Of course I'm not saying we are totally DEPENDENT of those brainchemicals...

Depression is not only caused by chemicals, they're also caused by the experiences of the patient...

What I wonna say is... our feelings and thoughts and free will are CARRIED by those chemicals!!
So a part of those thoughts and feelings are free will and a part are not...
Free will is caused by the consciousness...

The thing is, some patients do things under pressure, what I mean is they do things because their brain is telling them "YOU HAVE TO DO IT NOW, OR I WILL DESTROY YOU"... Than of course they experience the consequences of what they are doing, but you cannot call this free will anymore!!!

So actually, taking in account the fact that our free will is 'carried' by the chemicals of our brain..., I finally believe, free will is an illusion. We only think we're free, but in reality, I think, we're not.

This gives me the opinion we don't have 'a ghost'... Of course I could be wrong... it could also be that it's actually 'the ghost' of the patient which makes him depressive; but I doubt it.
Than you could say that it's 'the soul' are the past experiences of the soul of the scizofrenic which finally make him scizofrenic...

The fact is, when he IS scizofrenic, than the chemicals in his head take the decisions, he only experiences them... So in the end, free will must be an illusion, I think.

It's all chemicals...

When a scizofrenic is doing or seeing things with his consciousness; a part of his consciousness is made by his own brain; and whether he wants to get those things away or not, he can't... the only thing he can do is learn to accept and to live with the delusional...

when we are in the astral 'body', our physical body is completely in 'death-like' condition, but innerly we/our conscious is fully 'awake'. those who are adept in the 'state' you are refering to, are quite familiar with it. obe is an experience at the phsical plane;it has nothing to do with soul-realisation/consciousness/awareness!love&regards.
