Wisdomhas to do with the development of the life within the form, with the progress of the spirit through those ever-changing vehicles, and with the expansions of consiousness that succeed each other from life to life.It deals with the life side of evolution.Since it deals with the essence of things and not with thethings themselves,it is the intuitive apprehension of the truth apart from the reasoning faculty, and the innate perception that can distinguish between thecfalse and the true, between the real and the unreal. It is more than that, for it is also thegrowing capacity of the thinker to enter increasingly into themind of
spirit,or god,to realise the true inwardness of the great pageant of the universe,to vision the objective, andto harmonise more and more with the higher measure.Wisdom is the science of the spirit, just as knowledge is the science of matter.Knowledge is separtive and objective, while wisdom is synthetic and subjective.Knowledge divides, wisdom unites.Knowledge differentiates while wisdom blends, wisdom is the enlightened application of knowledge, through love and understanding.Understanding maybe then the beginning of wisdom, who knows?

I can't remember where, when, how or why; but I remember that someone once said:
"Knowledge is what helps us to win our lifes; Wisdom is what helps us to live."

regards michael. | Mk, you should really study the real philosophies of "the one and the many." A little Machiavelli and Nietzsche thrown in, wouldn't be too bad either...
regards, "To develop the skill of correct thinking is in the first place to learn what you have to disregard. In order to go on, you have to know what to leave out; this is the essence of effective thinking." Kurt Godel "Time and space are modes in which we think and not conditions in which we live." Sometimes in life it is difficult to know the difference, you have to go with your gut feeling,
and take what seems at times a chance,I remember a mother that I once worked with,
whose son was heavily into drugs,he would do shop lifting and stealing where ever he
could,he was such a thief that you would be afraid to yawn in front of,or else he would steal your false teeth and sell them!
She came to me one day and asked me a question;she said that she was so worried about her son,she thought that he would kill himself with the drugs, and wanted to report him to the police,so that maybe he could get some treatment for his addiction in jail!
But she said,I am his mother, how can I do this!!I said to her that she must do what her
heart and gut feelings tell her,and let your conscience be your guide, she did after a couple of days thinking it over, report herson to the police,he was arrested and did
eventually go to jail for eighteen months, while there he did reluctantly go for treatment
for his addiction, and after a while, even forgave his mum for shopping him to the police,
when he realised how she so worried about him,now many moons have past, andhe is still
clean and sober, and his mother looks ten years younger.

Wisdom is to know that difference is uncertain and divides. MJA The truth of everything is less than one inch, it is only equal and the lion is one. One is free when the door is opened, education has the key. =
